DBS vs NWS Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Nov 19, 2019

It's all happening in Abu Dhabi T10 League. On the third day of the tournament, Chris Lynn shattered all records as he smashed 91 runs off just 30 deliveries to take Arabians' total to 138. On a completey unrelated note, Northern Knights, who were favorites to take the title, are languishing at the bottom of the Group B ladder. They'll be up against Delhi Bulls in their upcoming fixture and will be looking to gain some lost momentum as we progress towards the business end of the tournament. The match will be played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on 19th November.

DBS vs NWS Team Previews

Delhi Bulls

Delhi Bulls haven't done too bad in the tournament up until now and are placed the third spot on the ladder. Their massive loss to Karnataka Tuskers was highly damaging to their net run-rate and it could become a factor should things get close in the back-end of the tournament.

Bowling first in the last match, Bulls' bowlers failed to put any pressure early on as Rilee Rossouw and Co. made merry on an excellent surface to bat on. However, the Bulls bounced back in the second half of the first innings as they restricted Tigers to just 108, which at one time appeared more like it would be in 120s.

With the batting, however, it was exactly the opposite. Kusal Perera got them off to a flying start and while they were looking pretty strong in the first half to nail the total down, quick wickets robbed them of an important point as they managed to just match the Tigers' total.

Delhi Bulls Playing 11

Kusal Perera, Muhammad Usman, Sherfane Rutherford, Eoin Morgan, Angelo Mathews, Mohammad Nabi, David Willey, Khary Pierre, Ali Khan, Ravi Rampaul, PVD Chameera.

Northern Warriors

The Warriors had a terrific start to the tournament as they defeated Maratha Arabians in their opening match of the tournament. Now, the tables have turned and while the Arabians are at the top of the table, the Warriors are languishing at the bottom. Warriors have won just one match out of a total of three played and have an extremely poor net run-rate of -1.799.

After facing an embarrasing loss to Qalandars wherein they were bundled out for a total of just 46, they became a little too cautious in their subsequent match as they managed to score just 92 runs in 10 overs. Andre Russell ended up scoring 37 runs, but took 27 deliveries, which were too many by his standards.

To defend that total, their bowlers needed to play out of their skins with ample support from their fielders, but none of those two things happened. Although they picked up wickets at crucial junctures, it took only one partnership for Team Abu Dhabi to cruise to the total. This was yet another massive loss for the Warriors, albeit not as big as the last one, and put heavy dent in their net run-rate.

Northern Warriors Playing 11

DJG Sammy, LMP Simmons, Andre Russell, Sam Billings, Asela Gunaratne, Mark Deyal, Nicholas Pooran, Christopher Green, RR Emrit, Junaid Siddique, CP Wood.

DBS vs NWS Betting Tips

Both the sides are placed in the bottom halves of their respective groups and need to make a move on. While Northern Warriors have appeared to be out of sorts with Andre Russell not firing like he is used to, Delhi Bulls haven't been able to hit big in the death overs. Both the sides have plenty of problems to solve going into the upcoming fixture and considering the balance of the two sides, we think that the Bulls are better placed to emerge on top in the upcoming fixture.
