Our Prediction: Dhaka Dynamites to win, 2.30 Bet on Dhaka Dynamites to win for Real Money
The Bulls defeated Dynamites in the last match by 2 wickets in a thrilling contest that saw them successfully chase down 137 runs, after the entire top order collapsed for just 56 runs on board. They will again meet Dynamites for the Eliminator match on 12th December at Dhaka and try to make it to the next qualifier. Both teams have experienced batsmen, strong bowling unit and good skills in fielding; this do or die match will test their perseverance and the team that can keep its nerves together has a better chance of making it through on Saturday.
Chasing a target of 137 runs in the last match, the entire batting line-up collapsed in a horrific manner, with players like Taylor, Talukdar, Mahmudullah, Lewis and Sabbir Rahman getting out for single digits. It was left to Mehedi Maruf, who scored 37 runs and Rayad Emrit down at No.8 to take them through the finish line.
Emrit top scored with a brilliant half-century from just 28 balls; earlier with the ball too, he took 2 wickets and along with Dutta and Sohag Gazi, they restricted the opposition to 136 runs. Al-Amin Hossain has done consistently well throughout but he gave away too many runs against Dynamites in the last match without taking a wicket; he will have to go back to his lethal spells and provide regular breakthroughs in the upcoming contest.
In the match against Vikings, Gayle mesmerised the crowds with a scintillating 92 off 47 balls to win the match by 8 wickets; along with others like Taylor, Mahmudullah, Maruf and Lewis, the Bulls definitely have what it takes to emerge victorious.
Despite a good knock by the top order batsmen Mohammad Hafeez, Reza and Ryan ten Doeschate, the 136-run target they put up wasn’t enough against the hard-hitting Bulls. They will have to pull up their socks and combine well to do better if batting first or chasing if they want to keep their hopes alive here. The bowlers did get regular wickets as Mosharraf Hossain took 3-29 and Nabil Samad took 2 wickets but the others gave away too many easy runs.
They had also lost their last encounter against Super Stars, after failing to defend 158 runs; although Farhad Reza and Yasir Shah took 3 wickets between them, the others failed to impress with the ball. Sangakkara has performed well to bring this team to this stage but the others must also come out all guns blazing in the upcoming match.
Mustafizur Rahman bowls economically while Abul Hasan, Nabil Samad and Hossain bring variety to the attack; they must however gel well as a unit and excel in all departments of the game to win matches under pressure.
The contest could go either way as both teams will put up a tremendous effort to win this eliminator; while the Bulls have the psychological advantage after their recent victory, we feel that the Dynamites could throw in some surprises to overcome the challenge and win the match on Saturday.
