Our Prediction: to win, N/A Bet on to win for Real Money
The stage would be set on fire when Delhi Daredevils match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The two IPL giants meet each other on 16th April and would begin at 8:00pm IST. So far, the journey of both the sides has been opposite. While RCB has managed to keep up to their reputation by winning three out of their five games, DD has not been able to get over the line even once. Considering the form, this might sound to be a one-sided affair, but on paper DD is a very strong side and has equal chance of emerging on top.
Just when it looked as if team Pune is going to come back with all the arms and ammunitions rightly set up after beating Rahul Dravid’s Rajasthan Royals, the disaster struck them yet again when they were not only defeated but crushed by Mumbai Indians with a difference of 41 runs considered a huge one in T20 format. They found the winning ways in Chennai with their new captain and their old reliable youngster Steven Smith. However, getting beaten up time and again seems like the Warriors still have not found what the problem is even after having a set of power packed players and talented performers like Yuvraj Singh and Robin Uthappa. But every game is a new one and that is what Pune should go with in the field and make the best of the game.
Continuing to surprise everyone till now by performing above the expectations that were from the Sunrisers before the start of tournament, team looks strong enough when they are to face meek looking Pune. With one of the best pace men at present in the world, Dale Steyn, supported in finest ways by Ishant Sharma and Sri Lankan bowler Perera there seems a sufficient balance in the lineup. Also the loss they encountered can very well be balanced if they end up on a winning side against the warriors. Their bowling seems to be over dependent on Steyn as it was evident from the last game. They’d need to increase the level of play to beat confident warriors in Pune.
This match is between the sides that produce unexpected results more often than not. Who would have thought Pune beating Chennai in Chennai and that too so very comfortably? Similarly, this sort of start to the tournament was not expected by Sunrisers at all. Both Pune and Sunrisers have excellent bowling attack and a relatively weaker bowling attack. I suspect Pune to inch through in this game, just because of home support and the way they played against Chennai.
