Our Prediction: to win, N/A Bet on to win for Real Money
Being at the rock bottom of the point table, Mumbai Indians will try to revive their campaign with a much-needed win as they go up against Sunrisers Hyderabad, who have 4 points from 5 matches and are at the fourth position, on 25th April at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The hosts have managed only one victory so far and need to come back with more strength in all departments of the game; the Sunrisers on the other hand played superbly in their last match against KKR and are eager to dominate the opponent from the very first ball on Saturday.
It has been a dismal run so far for Mumbai Indians and they are looking for a break here; losing their last match against Delhi Daredevils by 37 runs, Mumbai Indians made a complete mess of their chase of 191, finishing with only 153-9. Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu top scored with 30 apiece but that was not enough; bowlers were well below par as well and although Mitchell Mc Clenaghan took 2 wickets while Malinga and Bumrah took a wicket each, they couldn’t restrict Delhi in the run-flow. Mumbai Indians suffered four consecutive losses but bounced back with a win against RCB by 18 runs with Lendl Simmons and Unmukt Chand performing well in that game. They need to use the talent at hand well to make a difference to their campaign; players like Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard have to come out all guns blazing while the bowling, which still remains a worry, has to improve if they want to get crucial breakthroughs. Mumbai Indians certainly need to tighten their bowling and the batsmen need to fire from all cylinders if they are to do well this season.
Sunrisers Hyderabad triumphed emphatically against KKR by 16 runs in the last match after setting a competitive total of 176; David Warner’s superb 91 off 55 and Shikar Dhawan’s 54 off 46 balls gave the required boost to the innings and with this performance they have raised the tally of half-centuries between them to five. On the bowling front, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Praveen Kumar, Moises Henriques and Ravi Bopara picked up a wicket each to defeat KKR convincingly. In the previous match, they were however defeated by Delhi Daredevils with only Dhawan and Warner, drilling crunching strokes to give the hosts a rousing start. SRH has a number of quality bowlers in their ranks with the likes of Boult, Steyn, Bhuvaneshwar, Praveen and Ishant who make up a formidable bowling unit. With the recent win, their morale is surely boosted and they will do their best to continue with their winning momentum.
The Sunrisers have started performing better in recent matches and they are just one step behind to get into the playoffs; although Mumbai Indians have not performed as expected, this will be a precious chance to get back into the tournament. With the home ground advantage, Mumbai Indians look well set to fight back and win the upcoming match.Winner: Mumbai Indians , 1.80 @ Bet365
