SYDW vs BHW Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Nov 17, 2020
The Sydney Sixers have got into the worst possible form at the worst possible time. They lost both their matches over the weekend to teams that they should have beaten and are now no longer in the top-4.
They are now going to be playing against Brisbane Heat, the defending champions and a team that seems to be turning things around at the right time.
These are two teams that are on different trajectories and so this contest promises to be very interesting indeed.
Sydney Sixers vs Brisbane Heat WBBL 2020 is going to be played at the Sydney Showground Stadium, Sydney on the 17th of November 2020.
SYDW vs BHW Team Previews
Sydney Sixers Women
The Sydney Sixers are falling apart. There is no other way to put it. This is something similar to what happened to them last season and it seems to be the same course that they are charting this time as well.
A great start has been wasted and now four consecutive losses are what the Sydney Sixers bring into this match.
The batting is too dependent on Healy and Perry. Without these two (in tandem), the side seems to have no other answer. The experience of Marizanne Kapp, Dane van Dieker, and the explosive potential of Ash Gardner just do not seem to be coming together meaningfully.
Perry has also been playing at a strike rate much slower than what is expected. A lot of problems to sort for the Sixers batting then.
The bowling is also struggling with Perry doing the heavy lifiting once again. Stella Campbell and Marizanne Kapp have been pretty good in patches but the consistency is just not there. For some reason, a strong and stacked side like the Sydney Sixers is unable to play to potential for a prolonged period of time and that is troubling.
Sydney Sixers Women Playing 11
Ellyse Perry, Alyssa Healy, Dane van Niekerk, Erin Burns, Marizanne Kapp, Angela Reakes, Lisa Griffith, Lauren Cheatle, Sarah Aley, Jodie Hicks, Stella Campbell.
Brisbane Heat Women
Brisbane Heat has won its previous three matches and is finding new players leading its charge in every match. That is a good sign for the defending champions and the team now sites at third on the league table.
Grace Harris, Jess Jonassen, Georgia Redmayne, and Laura Harris form a young and aggressive batting core. They are in stark contrast to the experience that the Sydney SIxers briong but perhaps this fearlessness is going to hold them in good stead.
Still, Brisbane Heat cannot make the mistake of taking the Sixers lightly and will need one of its batters to really play well.
Jess Jonassen leads a strong bowling attack with support from players like Amelia Kerr, Grace Harris, Nicola Hancock, and Nadine de Klerk.
This is a bowling attack that can keep the struggling Sydney Sixers down for another match.

SYDW vs BHW Toss Prediction
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first and get a decent total on the board. Batting has been inconsistent for both teams and so they would like to avoid the pressure of the chase.

Pitch and Conditions
The Sydney Showground has been one of the best places to bat this season. Two strong batting sides with some explosive batters could put on a real show here. We think something around 140 may be seen as par batting first on this ground.
SYDW vs BHW Betting Tips
We are going to go with the form team in this contest and back Brisbane Heat. The team is in a good space and has multiple people contributing with both the bat and ball. The Sydney Sixers look lost right now and for all the talent that they have on paper, their team is just not coming together nicely at the moment.
Bet on Brisbane Heat to win.
