KKR vs RCB Match Prediction - Apr 19, 2019

While this edition of Indian Premier League has been eventful on the whole, we have all witnessed the level of excitement elevating in the past few days. The teams which were reigning the points table before are now strangely unsure of their qualification to the next round. Royal Challengers Bangalore once again came close to a win only to return back disappointed. They are not set to meet Kolkata Knight Riders at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on Friday, 19th April. Kolkata Knight Riders started their tournament on a high, but are looking a little lost at the moment. With things beginning to take shape, it is high time for both the sides to kick off from here. We expect the upcoming contest to be a cracking encounter.

KKR vs RCB Team Previews

Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders started off their campaign on a high, but are slowly losing steam which is largely due to their underperforming top-order. Sunil Narine hasn't been able to bat with the same flair he did in the last season with his vulnerabilities against quick bowling being highlighted on many occasions.

Another reason for their underperforming top-order is regular rotation of the slots the players bat at. Also, other than Nitish Rana, Andre Russel, and Chris Lynn, none of their batsmen have really managed to stay at the crease for extented periods of time and accumulate runs. Shubham Gill exhibited decent stroke play in one of the earlier matches, but he too was dropped down to number six which led to instability.

While skipper Dinesh Karthik hasn't been able to be amongst the runs in the tournament thus far, he has done fairly well as far as captaincy is concerned. He has rotated his bowlers beautifully, who, too, have responded well. Having said that, their spinners have struggled with the consistently and it hasn't been different for their pace bowlers as well. All in all, the Knight Riders have a terrific lineup on-paper, but they have struggled to produce results on the field primarily due to their over-reliance on Andre Russell to do the heavy hitting. If someone can take the responsibility to go from the word go and fulfil it, KKR would be a tough side to get past.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

A lot has been said about the Challengers this year and while they've continously addressed their problems, the infavorable results do not seem to end for them. Led by Virat Kohli, Royals Challengers Bangalore have failed to follow their skipper's steps in almost every facet of the game.

Barring Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Parthiv Patel upto some extent, batting has largely failed for the Bengaluru-based franchise in this edition of the tournament. With Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Parthiv Patel forming the top-three of their lineup, their middle-over clearly has a void with Moeen Ali and Marcus Stoinis not able to deliver consistently.

It was surprising to see Virat Kohli not include Dale Steyn in the playing elWhile this edition of Indian Premier League has been eventful on the whole, we have all witnessed the level of excitement elevating in the past few days. KKR vs RCB Betting Tips

Considering the way RCB have performed in the tournament thus far, many would expect huge disparity in the positions the two teams - KKR and RCB, currently hold in the points table. However, the teams teams are just a couple of places apart and the difference would be bridged even further if RCB are able to come on top here. However, considering their form and over-reliance on Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, it seems improbable and, therefore, KKR are better placed to win the upcoming encounter.
