Can you trust Betkwiff
You can bet that you can trust Betkwiff. First of all, Betkwiff has been around for seven years now and that in itself is a good sign that customers like to return here.
The head company of Betkwiff is licensed through the UK Gambling Commission, who is notoriously strict with its licensees. Betkwiff itself is licensed through the Isle of Man, which is also a trustworthy gambling jurisdiction.
On top of that, we haven’t really found any negative reviews about Betkwiff. Granted, we don’t expect every customer to be happy here all the time. The nature of the betting business makes this rather unlikely, but it is a good sign when there aren’t any major complaints to be found.
Betkwiff generally receives high ratings and we are confident that it is safe for you to sign up here and try them out.
Cricket betting and odds
Even when you login from India, cricket won’t be the first sport that is featured in the sportsbook. The top menu showcases in-play betting, featured events and the follow all the sports that you can bet on. You get football, tennis and ice hockey follow by various other sports. The reason behind sorting the sports like that is unclear as there seems to be not systematic approach.
You will have to scroll over to find cricket. When you do, you find in-play and upcoming matches, or you can simply sort according to competitions to make your selections. At the time of our review, we found odds for the following cricket competitions:
- India Premier League
- World Cup, Women
- List-A Series Namibia A vs. Ireland A
- ODI Series Pakistan vs Australia
- Plunket Shield
- Pakistan Cup
- Vincy T10 League
- CSA Provincial One Day Challenge
- Zimbabwe Domestic Twenty20
- Nepal Tri-Nation
This is a great selection of events and should satisfy most punters. Generally, the selection of markets is good, though not great. Depending on the event, you will have fewer markets available and only the big events will have more options to bet on.
The odds are also not necessarily the best in the industry. This is the main reason the supercharged odds are a thing at Betkwiff because they make up for the fact that this bookmaker does not consistently offer great odds across the board.
There is plenty of in-play betting available at Betkwiff. Either you visit the in-play section directly and check out all available matches here, or you navigate to your preferred sport and see whether any in-play action is available here.
Whilst we read somewhere that Betkwiff has live streaming available, we couldn’t really find any at the time of our review. Mostly, we found live stats, animations (which vary in quality depending on the sport) and further interesting information. So, we couldn’t verify whether live streaming might be available for other events.
Betkwiff offers an interesting sportbook. We counted 15 other sports besides cricket, which covers a good range of interests. Apart from popular options such as football, tennis, golf or the F1, Betkwiff also offers horse racing betting, which is not found very often.
At the time of our review, there were no kabaddi events underway, though we believe that kabaddi betting is available here as well.
Notably missing were eSports, which don’t seem to be available for betting at Betkwiff at all.
What else does Betkwiff offer?
As mentioned above, Betkwiff also added an online casino to their gambling offering. It is a more recent addition, but you won’t even notice that.
Here is why the casino is worth checking out:
- Great providers offering over 1,500 games
- Live casino also available
- Modern UI
Alas, not all is great here and our main issue is the fact that you can only really look at the main casino landing page, but you can’t go anywhere from there unless you register an account and login. So, if you wanted to check out the slots, you are asked right away to join or login. Same for every other area here. That is quite annoying and means we can’t really investigate further unless we create an account.
Promotions and bonuses
Betkwiff has two welcome offers for new customers. One for the sportsbook and one for casino players. Both offers are interesting and rather unique.
Sports welcome offer:
- Register a new account
- Make a deposit of INR 1,000 or more
- Place a bet of at least INR 1,000 on odds of 1.5 or higher
- Receive an INR 2,000 surprise bet in return
We’re not sure what makes this a surprise bet because that is specified. But you get it and you can use it and any potential winnings are withdrawable as cash, though the initial stake is not returned.
Casino welcome offer:
- Deposit and bet INR 1,000 on slots at the casino
- Receive 100 free spins on Book of Dead in return
- Free spins are valued at INR 10 per spin
- The total amount you can win from free spins is capped at INR 100,000
- Free spin winnings must be wagered 40x within 30 days
Often, of course, casino welcome offers consist of deposit bonuses. Here you receive 100 free spins on a great slot. We admit, we prefer this over a deposit bonus.
At the time of our review, other promotional offers were somewhat scarce. The main feature are the supercharged odds that you can get randomly at Betkwiff. They are certainly a highlight, but also rather unreliable. They happen or they don’t.
Just like the Supercharged cashout, where any cashout can be supercharged, which is great but just as unreliable.
The “First past the post” promotion is available on win and place bets within the UK and Ireland, which means probably useless for customers in India. What a bother!
And that’s already it. No further promotions are currently available and from what we have seen, they are not a regular occurrence at Betkwiff either. So, if that is your main reason to sign up anywhere, Betkwiff is not your best choice.
Alas, Betkwiff does not provide a separate payments page where all deposit and withdrawal options are listed. Once you register and head to the cashier, you will see all available payment methods, of course, but prior to that there is no single source to get all the information you need.
At the bottom of the homepage the following payment methods are shown:
There may very well be further options available, but they don’t show up here. In any case, they are actually sufficient for most punters in India.
The terms and conditions offer further information on withdrawals and deposits, though none of the details we are ordinarily looking for such as transaction limits, transaction times or withdrawal limits.
One thing you will also have to go through at Betkwiff is the KYC process, which we generally recommend doing sooner rather than later.
If you have any question of any kind about Betkwiff, their services, products or even banking, you will need to contact customer support.
In the left-hand menu, there is an option for ‘help’. When you click on that, you will find FAQ, Live Chat, About and Responsible Gambling as further options to choose from.
Oddly, clicking on FAQ will only open a live chat window as will clicking on Live Chat. We’re not sure why that is, but when you do manage to go to the corporate section of Kwiff, which is available via the terms and conditions link, you will find that the FAQ there only talk about the supercharged odds. It’s great to learn more about that topic, but it is entirely useless as a FAQ section because it doesn’t cover any other subjects.
So, back we are with the live chat and here you will hopefully get all your questions answered.
Honestly, we weren’t happy with the user interface at Betkwiff. And from what we have read elsewhere, we aren’t the only ones.
They try to be modern and different, which they achieve both. But not in a good way. The main landing page takes us to the sportsbook. The sports are listed in the top menu, and you have to scroll sideways to see them all. There is also a side menu on the left-hand side, which you can minimise. That’s nice and actually quite necessary as it can be distracting, especially the instant games, which are available there.
The betslip on the right-hand side takes up entirely too much space and cannot be folded away. And closing the live chat window is also not always easily achieved. It may just sit there and resist all attempts at being closed.
So, yeah, the Betkwiff homepage is modern and there are some gimmicks which are cool. But the user experience isn’t great, even though navigating the sportsbook isn’t difficult. For experienced punters anyway.
The mobile page is very similar in design but seems to offer a somewhat more pleasant user experience. We certainly preferred it.
We have also heard that the apps for Android and iOS are available for Betkwiff but honestly couldn’t figure out where they can be downloaded.
Conclusion and final thoughts
If you are solely interested in cricket betting and perhaps playing a few slots here and there, Betkwiff is definitely a good option to check out. Yes, their user interface does take getting used to, but once you have found your way around, you should be fine.
The sportsbook isn’t massive, but they do have horse racing as well, which is a rare thing to see.
Overall, the coverage of events is good and leaves little to be desired. There could be a wider range of markets, but we still don’t feel like complaining too much here. And whilst the odds are not always excellent, the promise of supercharged odds keeps things interesting.
Betkwiff is certainly different than many more traditional sportsbook and there is nothing wrong with that. But we would still like to see a proper FAQ section and perhaps let us check out the available slots without asking us to create an account right away.
