When we can only find a license from the Curacao government, we’re always a bit sceptical. It’s just not the most diligent or reliable license for customers complaints. Betwinner does have a Curacao license, which means they are legally allowed to offer the gambling products in most countries around the world.

From what we have heard, there have been initial problems with Betwinner, especially pertaining to their payouts and limiting of successful players. But we have also heard that things have settled down and Betwinner complaints seem to be few and far now.

In fact, for the most part, Betwinner is rated quite highly, which inspires confidence. Their payouts are said to be really fast, which is always great to hear. 

However, they are also rumoured to be very quick when it comes to limiting players, notably big winners. As such, casual players are likely to find no issue here, but if you are a highroller, you might want to tread more carefully.

Cricket betting and other sports

When you login into Betwinner from India, you’ll find cricket betting almost at the top of the list of sports you can bet on here. It follows only after football, of course. Clearly, Betwinner recognises players needs, especially based on location and cricket is the favourite sport on the subcontinent.

Times being what they are, cricket betting options were somewhat limited at the time of our review because cricket wasn’t back in full force yet.

We were able to find cricket betting markets for the following events:

When you click your way through the individual matches, you’ll find plenty of betting options, which sometimes number a few dozens and sometimes even over a hundred. As such, there’s no shortage of cricket betting at Betwinner, even if there is currently a shortage of matches.

Additionally, Betwinner does offer live streaming, though that may not be available for all matches.

Beyond cricket, Betwinner offers betting on over 50 sports and special events. You can bet on football and tennis as easily as you can bet on the weather or the next US president.

Of course, there’s also plenty of live betting available, for cricket and every other sport. There’s no shortage of markets, betting options and a wide selection of odds. Betwinner even offers a betting exchange, though it may not necessarily be available to customers everywhere.

A highlight at Betwinner are sports betting features such as the Bet Constructor or the Bet Slip Sale (Cashout function).

Games and more

As a full-service gambling provider, Betwinner also offers plenty of casino gambling. The casino gets its own section, where you can filter according to game type or provider. Thousands of slots and table games are available at Betwinner. Whilst you will be able to find games from Thunderkick, Quickspin, ELK Studios, Yggdrasil or Pragmatic Play, providers such as Microgaming, NetEnt or Play’n GO are not featured here. Instead, you’ll find plenty of smaller or even unknown game providers with an interesting selection of slots and table games.

Beyond the regular casino, Betwinner also features a Win Games section, where you can find scratch cards of Indian Poker. Additionally, TV Games are available here, Bingo, Toto, Financials, various lottery games and regular Poker. We appreciate the wide selection of games here, but also bemoan the fact that there are virtually no big progressive jackpots to be found here.

Promotions and bonuses

Betwinner offers more than one welcome bonus. For sports bettors, the most interesting option is the 100% first deposit bonus and up to 8,000 INR. The minimum required deposit to claim this bonus is just 80 INR.

In order to meet the bonus conditions, the bonus funds have to be wagered 5x on accumulator bets of at least 3 events with odds of 1.40 or higher. Customers have 30 days to meet the wagering requirements if they wish to withdraw the bonus or any winnings from it.

The same bonus can be claimed in the casino, where you need to wager deposit and bonus amount 28x each before a withdrawal is possible. Alas, in this instance, players only have 7 days to complete the wagering, which is difficult to achieve.

Beyond the welcome offers, Betwinner has tons of other promotions and bonuses available for players and punters. At the time of our review, you were able to claim an IPL refund in the case of a losing bet or a 25% deposit bonus for different deposit methods. Accumulator boosts, birthday promotions, various lotteries or bet insurances were also available.

In fact, there were too many offers to list them all here and some are obviously subject to change. But if you need additional incentives when choosing a bookmaker, Betwinner is an excellent choice.

There is also a casino welcome package available, which gives new customers deposit bonuses for their first four deposits plus free spins with every deposit. That bonus needs to be wagered 35x within 7 days however, which we find difficult to achieve and would therefore not really recommend claiming the full amount.

Banking options

Betwinner provides a separate banking page, where you will find all available deposit and withdrawal methods available in your country. A handy drop-down menu lets you select India and you’ll find about 40 deposit methods listed here as well as 38 withdrawal options.

A significant portion of these payment methods include cryptocurrencies, but credit cards, e-Wallets and other payment systems are also available. Note, however, that favourite Indian banking options such as UPI, Net Banking, PayTM, PhonePe or even GPay are not listed here. It is still possible that they are available, but we wouldn’t count on that.

You’ll be able to see the minimum and maximum amounts you can deposit and withdraw as well as transaction times. Keep in mind that the transaction time counts only from the moment that the withdrawal is approved by Betwinner and not from the time you request it. That said, the bookmaker does process withdrawal requests around the clock.

Support

Thankfully, you’ll be able to find plenty of information around the Betwinner homepage itself. You’ll rarely have a need to contact customer service directly. If it is indeed necessary, you can do so via phone, live chat or email.

However, the customer service is sometimes slow to respond, seems to have some language barriers and is not always able to go beyond scripted answers. You may need a bit of patience if you have a real problem with your account or a withdrawal.

Things have been improving, but the overall standard of the customer service is not where we would like to see it.

Software

Betwinner uses a colour scheme that reminds us of bet365. There is a lot of green and some yellow highlights. But the setup of the site is very similar to that of 1xBet, though the layout is a little different.

Our main issue is the cluttered appearance of the homepage. There are so many links, several menus and drop-down options that new players can be quite overwhelmed. That said, things have been tidied up somewhat. The drop-down options have been cleaned up and only expand if you click an additional button. The bet slip and side menu on the left can also be expanded or pinned now, which is handy and appreciated for a cleaner look.

The site does load quickly, which is an advantage, and it has become easier to use now as well. Still, plenty of links will lead you to the same area, which ends up being a little strange and even frustrating. There are at least three ways to access the sign-up bonus from the main page, which seems a bit much.

That said, the mobile interface does help when you access the site via your mobile device. You will also be able to download separate betting apps for Android and iOS.

Summary

Betwinner may still be fairly new to the fold, but they have much to offer and clearly a lot of experience to draw on. Cricket betting options are excellent here and are only limited by what is currently available. You will also find dedicated cricket promotions for big upcoming events such as the IPL. And who doesn’t like to hear that?

There are so many other promotions to choose from beyond that, you will have trouble taking your pick. Alas, we’d have loved to see more Indian-focussed banking methods.

Do take care when going in big here as we are not sure in how far they may limit big players. But casual punters and gamblers will find plenty to entertain themselves with at Betwinner. And since our complaints are few, we have no reason not to recommend this bookmaker and full-service gambling provider.
