LottaBet Review
Trustworthiness
LottaBet, like so many other bookmakers, is registered and licensed in Curacao through Media Entertainment N.V.
Whilst the Curacao license isn’t our favourite as it doesn’t offer the same strict licensing rules many European or even US American gambling jurisdictions impose, it is still a valid and long-established gambling jurisdiction, which is better than nothing.
That said, LottaBet is still very new and has yet to establish a reputation on its own merit. We do like what we have seen so far, and Media Entertainment N.V. is a solid operator we have heard few complaints about. Certainly, nothing that is unusual and would lead us to caution against signing up at LottaBet.
For what it’s worth, LottaBet is off to a good start and if they continue like this, we have confidence that they will grow into a reputable betting site in India that we will be happy to recommend. But given that they are still very new, we also recommend that you test them thoroughly before fully committing to them.
Cricket betting and other sports
When we looked at LottaBet for you, cricket was one of the top sports featured in their sportsbook. The IPL was listed as a favourite league (as the only other sport besides football) and it was the second sport featured in the sports menu on the left-hand side.
However, we found the list of cricket events here rather lacking. In the list of upcoming matches, we found the following options:
- ICC ODI Championship
- Twenty20 Internationals
In total, there were three matches to bet on, which is barely worth your consideration given that other bookmakers featured at least a handful more matches and up to dozens of other cricket events currently going on in the world.
We understand that LottaBet is still very new and likely working on expanding their portfolio, but it somewhat begs the question who their sportsbook supplier is as this is subpar in comparison to what we have seen elsewhere.
We want to give LottaBet the benefit of being new and hope that they will add more cricket events sooner rather than later, especially since they are specifically aimed at an Indian audience.
Things are looking better in the football section, where plenty of events are covered and tons of upcoming football matches are available to bet on.
Similarly, tennis and many of the others sports you can bet on here are also well covered. At the time of our review, you were able to bet on 15 sports in total, including eSports.
The odds seem to be competitive and fair, which is good to see.
Overall, we wouldn’t mind a few more niche sports covered here and we definitely need more cricket events and matches to recommend LottaBet as good cricket betting site for you.
Games and more
Just like the sportsbook, the online casino is also on the small side. You can filter according to various game categories and if you click on ‘Providers’, you will see which game providers are available for each section.
In total, there are nine game providers available at LottaBet. They are Vivo Gaming, Blueprint, Evolution Gaming, iSoftbet, Interjuegos, Microgaming, NetEnt, Play’n GO and Salsa. The majority of games is provided by the big developers. As such, you will get some of the best games available for online casinos, even though you only get a few hundred games in total.
The best news is that large progressive jackpot slots from Microgaming are featured here, which includes various Mega Moolah games. There are also WowPot! jackpot games, so you can try your luck and win millions here.
Smaller jackpot games are also available.
Finally, the live casino hosts a strong range of games as well. There are plenty of traditional live dealer games as well as some other fun table games from Evolution Gaming. What’s more, you will be able to play Andar Bahar and Teen Patti here as well.
Promotions and bonuses
New customers at LottaBet can choose between two welcome offers, one for sports and one for casino games. Let’s check them out:
- 100% sports bonus for your first deposit of at least INR 1,500 and up to INR 10,000
- To qualify for the bonus, the first deposit must be once at the sportsbook on odds of 1.5 or higher
- In order to withdraw the bonus or winnings from it, the bonus and deposit must be wagered 6x within 60 days on bets with odds of 1.8 or higher
Alternatively, there is the casino bonus:
- 1st deposit = 100% match bonus and up to INR 10,000
- 2nd deposit = 50% match bonus and up to INR 15,000
- 3rd deposit = 25% match bonus and up to INR 20,000
- Bonus and deposit need to be wagered 25x for each of the bonuses, which you have 30 days to achieve
- The minimum qualifying deposit is INR 500
The good news is, some games contribute 150% to the wagering, which even includes betting on Mega Moolah. Also, most games contribute at least partly towards wagering and only very few don’t contribute at all.
The welcome bonuses aside, we did like the other promotions currently available at LottaBet as well. They included a daily cash bonus, a weekly prize pool, a win bonus for multi bets, a cricket free bet and more.
There was also a solid selection of casino offers available, so you get to pick as you please.
Banking options
Alas, LottaBet currently provides hardly any banking information prior to opening an account here. There is no FAQ, no separate banking page and not much information in the terms and conditions either. There are not even logos on display on the homepage, which shows us some popular payment methods.
As far as we have been able to find out, you will have the following banking options available at LottaBet:
- Visa and MasterCard
- UPI
- GPay
- PhonePe
- PayTM
- Cryptocurrencies
- AstroPay
- eZeeWallet
- Bank transfer
Clearly, you will find something that should suit your needs and fees are generally not charged either.
Of course, we would prefer a separate banking page with the transaction times and limits as well, especially since they are also not mentioned in the terms and conditions. As such, you either sign up and visit the cashier, or you ask the customer service team for more details.
Also keep in mind that you will need to go through the KYC process at LottaBet eventually and we generally recommend getting that out of the way as soon as you have created your account here.
Support
The good news is that the customer service team at LottaBet is available around the clock and covers nine languages as well. It doesn’t say which nine languages, mind you.
Still, they operate internationally, so some common languages are certainly available here, which is good.
Since there is no FAQ or other help pages, you will likely need to speak with the team sooner rather than later. They are easily available via live chat, which is handy. Alternatively, you can send them an email as well, of course, but that takes longer to get a reply and doesn’t seem sensible when the live chat is so easily accessible.
Overall, the team seems to aim for good service and tries to help as much as they can.
Software
LottaBet’s user interface is pleasing in its simplicity. The main menu keeps it simple, the layout is classic and tidy, the colour scheme of blue and white with orange highlights is unimposing and you won’t have any difficulties finding your way around.
There is nothing flashy or gimmicky about the sportsbook, which is quite refreshing and really makes for a good user experience. We didn’t miss anything that is often superficial or even superfluous and found the navigation here just what it really should be.
The casino is a little bit more ‘in your face’, especially the large banner that frequently changes at the top of the screen was more than we would prefer. Otherwise, the navigation here was also easy and what we require from a good online casino.
Finally, if you prefer to go mobile, you can easily access sportsbook and online casino via your mobile browser as the page is fully mobile optimised. Since there are no dedicated apps for Android or iOS, you can fall back on a solid mobile experience regardless.
