WinDaddy Review
Trustworthiness
The good news is that WinDaddy has been operating for nearly two years already and we couldn’t find any significant complaints or issues. Any betting site that makes it longer than a year seems to be doing something right.
Of course, WinDaddy only has a Curacao license, which means they have been checked and operate legally, but it’s also not as strict a gambling jurisdiction as any of the European ones.
WinDaddy does enjoy some brand recognition now, however, which may not mean that they are automatically trustworthy, but it does mean that they have something to lose if they mistreated their customers.
So, we judge them on their own merit, and they seem to be doing alright with their customer base. Though, as usual, if you want to try them out before fully committing, be sure to only make a few small deposits and withdrawals and test all their services thoroughly.
Cricket betting and other sports
WinDaddy does offer over 30 sports to bet on. Chief among them is cricket, of course. And you can bet on kabaddi here as well. The range of sports is definitely great, which also includes e-Sports, of course. But unfortunately, it is not possible to take a close look at the events they cover, the betting options or their odds because you can only access their sportsbook when you have an account.
This is something we truly do not understand as their sportsbook is a major part of their business and if you can’t access it, look at the odds they are offering and the available markets or even the events that are covered here, you cannot truly judge whether this is the sportsbook for you.
We don’t know whether it is easily navigated or not necessarily suitable for new punters. We can’t tell if the odds on offer are fair or competitive. We don’t know which cricket events are covered here or what their live betting looks like.
So, how are we supposed to fairly judge their sportsbook? We can’t. So, we won’t.
Anyone reviewing a betting site or online casino will do their best to garner as much information as possible without having to create an account because most users don’t want to go ahead and sign up for an account right away either. It shouldn’t be necessary. Once you want to really test a betting site, you will need an account. But that has to be the last step you take, not the first.
So, let’s move on and see what else WinDaddy has to offer and see whether that can win us over to give them a go.
Casino and live casino
WinDaddy offers over 1,000 games in their casino library, which is definitely a good amount without being excessive. They work with providers such as Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Wazdan, Booongo, Red Rake and others. The live casino is chiefly supplied with games from Evolution Gaming and Ezugi.
Many of our favourite international providers are missing, however, including NetEnt, Microgaming, Yggdrasil and Playtech, to name just a few. That also means the biggest and best international progressive jackpot games are not part of the portfolio here.
Still, there are fun games to be found here and the live casino is quite excellent. Here you will find Andar Bahar and Teen Patti in various versions plus tons of other fun games aimed at Indian customers.
The games library is well-sorted, mind you, and offers a good range of different games, so you won’t get bored here.
Promotions and bonuses
WinDaddy only offers a few bonuses, including a welcome offer, where new players can claim up to INR 11,000 on their first deposit and use it for sports betting, casino games or live casino tables. It is quite unusual to have a bonus that applies to all sections, but we certainly like it.
The bonus conditions are a bit odd, however. And not exactly easy to understand. It seems that when you make a deposit, you get the amount matched in bonus funds, which then becomes a locked bonus. You unlock this bonus by wagering it at a certain rate and then it becomes bonus earned, which then becomes withdrawable money. There are no further details than that and it isn’t explained any better either.
Locked bonus funds expire after 7 days, whilst earned bonus is indefinite. We have never seen anything like it, so we can’t really say how it works out in the end.
Interestingly, you can get a 5% bonus on every single deposit you make at WinDaddy, which is always a locked bonus (though it will only expire after 14 days in this case).
A casino and live casino cashback offer of 10% is also available and customers at WinDaddy have the opportunity to win 100 grams of gold every month by using the manual bank transfer deposit method.
There are unfortunately no specific sports bonuses such as free bets or accumulator boosts available here.
Banking options
Unfortunately, WinDaddy has no help pages, FAQ section or a dedicated banking page. At the bottom of the homepage, they display various logos for available payment methods, however.
So, we know at least some of banking options available here, which include:
- Netbanking
- GPay
- PhonePe
- UPI
- PayTM
- ICICI Bank and others
Elsewhere we read that Neteller, Skrill and credit cards are also available for deposits and withdrawals.
Further information can be gleaned in the terms and conditions. For instance, deposits must be rolled over three times, or they incur a 3% processing fee and withdrawal fees will also apply if they are made prior to these rollover requirements.
Withdrawal limits are not mentioned anywhere, but we do suspect that some may apply as this is often the case with smaller betting sites.
Support
If you do have questions about this or anything else at WinDaddy, you will need to contact their customer service team. Since there are no help pages or FAQs, information is somewhat limited on the homepage, so any questions will have to be taken to the team. Thankfully, they are there 24/7 and can be contacted via email, live chat or social media services.
It would be great if a help section would be added, which usually also includes some FAQ. This would ensure a better transparency and frankly, not every single question needs to be taken to the customer service team.
Another bonus is that the customer service team is available to answer questions in English and Hindi.
Software
Our first impression of WinDaddy was that of a flashy casino site. It certainly doesn’t look like a classic sportsbook. Many other casinos look similar with bonus offers prominently displayed, another banner with news and offers and the black and gold colour scheme.
We can’t tell you anything about the user-experience of the sportsbook since we did not create an account here to try them out. We are adamant that you shouldn’t have to do that just to see what is available.
The rest of the site is easy to navigate, though the casino has some random filter options such as “crash games” or “Fishing and Hunting”, which we have rarely seen as themes, whilst other more prominent themes are not showing up at all.
The site also seems a bit buggy here and there as we found it randomly jumping around when we navigated from one section to another. This might be due to all the graphics, however.
Whilst there are no mobile apps for iOS or Android devices, the site is mobile friendly, and you can easily access it via your mobile browser. Indeed, we even found it to be less jumpy on our smaller screens.
