CampoBet is licensed through the Curacao gambling jurisdiction, which has been around for many years and regulates many popular betting sites and online casinos. It is not the strictest and most reliable gambling jurisdiction, however. Whilst it is sufficient for a betting site operating internationally, we generally prefer European licenses as well because they are usually much stricter in enforcing their rules and regulations, adding another layer of security and trustworthiness.
That said, CampoBet does not stand out with a huge number of complaints or any other known issues. In fact, on AskGamblers they only have three recorded complaints, which have all been resolved. That’s pretty impressive for a betting site that’s been around for two years.
On the official side of things, CampoBet can be considered trustworthy.
Not all players consider them reliable, however, and mostly complain about delayed withdrawals. That’s not uncommon with many betting sites, however, and is mostly owed to a lengthy KYC process. As it is, the customer service at CampoBet engages with all complaints and addresses issues specifically, aiming to find solutions, which is commendable.
Cricket betting and other sports
Whilst we are all about cricket betting, the same cannot be said about CampoBet. That’s not to say that they don’t offer cricket betting. As it is, at the time of this review we were in the middle of the coronavirus crisis, which means all games were suspended and no betting on cricket was available.
At this time, CampoBet only featured markets for the next World Cup, the Twenty20 World Cup and for The Hundred. Since all these events were still months away, we mostly got to see outright bets.
Our research indicates that usually a lot more events and markets are available, of course. You will definitely be able to bet on the big international events at CampoBet and since they have a strong focus on Asian handicaps in general, you can also expect to see plenty of markets for the big national cricket events in India, though we couldn’t much tell you about smaller local leagues.
That aside, CampoBet has a heavy focus on football, which we already mentioned. Here you’ll easily find all the big and many smaller leagues, tons of betting options and hundreds of markets.
Beyond that, CampoBet offers betting on about 30 sports with an additional strong focus on eSports, a category much less affected by any pandemics. Virtuals are also very prominent here and you can bet on football, tennis, basketball, greyhound and horse racing.
Live betting, by the way, is particularly well regarded at CampoBet, so if you like to bet now and markets for your event are available, you should definitely check it out.
Games and more
CampoBet also offers a fully fledged online casino, working with three dozen online casino game providers to bring you an excellent range of slots, table games, video poker and some local progressive jackpots. You will be able to play games from NetEnt, Microgaming, Play’n GO, Red Tiger, Yggdrasil, Push Gaming and many others here, offering supreme gambling for those who want to do more than bet on cricket or other sports.
Of course, a Live Casino featuring several dozen live tables for roulette, blackjack, baccarat and casino poker games is also available.
CampoBet does not offer a poker client, however.
Also, you probably won’t be able to chase the big progressive jackpots such as Mega Moolah or Mega Fortune here. Often, casinos with only a Curacao license are unable to provide these games. Smaller jackpots such as Divine Fortune or Holmes and the Stolen Stones are available, though.
Promotions and bonuses
We’ve already mentioned that CampoBet offers numerous bonuses and promotions. Once again, their focus is on sports betting, but casino fans won’t feel neglected either. The sports welcome bonus offers a 100% match bonus and up to INR 8,000 on your first deposit. Keep in mind that deposits via Neteller and Skrill are not eligible for this bonus, however.
The bonus conditions are somewhat unusual. First you must wager your deposit once and then you must contact customer support to receive the bonus funds. Then the deposit and bonus must be wagered 6x on single bets on odds of 2.0 or higher or multi-bets on odds of 1.50 or higher. Certain types of bets are excluded from wagering.
In any case, be sure to read the terms carefully before claiming the bonus. Since this is not happening automatically, you can always choose not to claim it.
Casino players will also be able to claim a welcome bonus, though the amount is higher as is the wagering.
Additionally, plenty of free bets and cash back offers or boosts are available at CampoBet for sports betting enthusiasts. At any given time, you may be able to make use of at least half a dozen sports offers, though likely more.
Casino fans will have fewer bonuses to avail themselves of but reload and cashback offers as well as big promotions are part of offer as well.
CampoBet doesn’t offer a dedicated banking page, where all deposit and withdrawal options are listed. That’s a bit unfortunate as it means you have to go digging for further information.
At the bottom of the homepage you’ll find the logos of most payment options available here, including Visa, MasterCard, zimpler, Neteller, Skrill, bank transfer, paysafecard, ripple, Litecoin, Bitcoin and Ethereum as well as a few other options that are not available to players in India.
If you want to know more, you can get further information in the FAQ section or by contacting the customer support team directly.
It’s important to note that the KYC process has been reported as lengthy and somewhat difficult by some unhappy customers. That’s not unusual and serves your own security. It’s also a legal requirement to prevent money laundering and other illegal activities. Be sure to have your ID verified before making your first withdrawal.
The customer support team at CampoBet is super friendly. They’re available 24/7 via live chat and email. There are also two phone numbers for customers from Russia and Europe to contact.
Complaints or questions are also answered in various gambling forums, where the customer support team tries to solve every issues that arises.
It’s also helpful to know that the team is able to help in multiple languages, though customers from India will have to fall back on English.
CampoBet has a fairly classic design and software. Shades of green and dark grey are prominent, though the background in the sportsbook and casino is light grey. The menu is intuitive and easy to follow, which is true for the main menu as well as the options within the sportsbook and the casino.
It’s all nicely organised and easy to use. We couldn’t really find anything missing here and have no complaints about the design or look of the site. It’s not super modern and lacks flashy gimmicks, which only enhances the functionality.
The site can be a little buggy here and there, though, and some players have complained about issues with games loading or restarting randomly.
The mobile page is just as well-organised and easy to use and ideally suited to everyone who likes to place bets on the go. Mobile apps for Android or iOS don’t seem to be available at this time.
CampoBet is a good sports betting site for customers from India. It’s not the best for cricket, though it isn’t bad either. What we are trying to say is that there are better cricket betting sites out there. But overall, CampoBet offers a good package for those looking for a well-sorted sportsbook that is user-friendly and gives us plenty of markets and competitive odds. Their strong focus on Asian handicaps is an advantage.
And they have a very good online casino and live casino plus tons of promotions as an additional incentive to try them out. We have hardly found anything wrong with them and would only really like to see a European license, which would also mean the addition of big progressive jackpots.
