Officially, Parimatch is at home in Curacao, which means they also hold a gambling license from Curacao. Whilst not our favourite, it is sufficient at this time. This is especially true since we couldn’t actually find major complaints about the bookmaker or any serious allegations about fraudulent behaviour or unethical business practices.
We have no idea how many players they have, but complaints do seem to be few, and most reviews give Parimatch average ratings. They are hardly excellent, but there’s also nothing seriously wrong with them.
What bothers us a little is the lack of transparency at least on the Indian website. You can’t find any terms and conditions, banking information or much about the operator here. They proffer a link to their license, which is better than nothing. But that’s about all there is.
More transparency about the business would be desirable.
Cricket betting and other markets
Among the positives we can note here is that Cricket receives prime position in the sportsbook (which comes with a very simple design, by the way), when you access the page from India.
At the time of our review, there were only few markets available, which does not compare to the over 1,100 football markets available at the same time.
At the time of our review, we were able to find selections for:
- India Premier Leage
- Pakistan Super League
- ODI 1st
- ODI 3rd
- Women Twenty20 World Cup
- Test Match, 2nd Test
- Momentum One Day Cup
Cricket betting options included Total Runs, Who will do more Fours/Sixes, Will Score 100 points, Highest Individual Score and a few more.
So, when it comes to international events, Parimatch is a betting site that is quite well-sorted. But regional matches in India don’t seem to be covered at all.
Beyond that, a little over a dozen sports are present in the sportsbook, including tennis, basketball, eSports, MMA, American Football and a few others. Kabaddi betting was not available.
Of course, you are also to able to place live bets at Parimatch, but they do not have live streaming.
Casino and Live Casino
The main menu at Parimatch gives you access to the sportsbook, live betting, my bets and the casino. If you click on the Parimatch icon, you’ll get access to the secondary menu, where you can get access to the live casino and find TV games and BetGames as well.
In the casino, you’ll find games sorted into various useful categories, including slots, jackpots, video poker, table games and other games. You can also sort the games according to the over two dozen providers that the casino works with.
Overall, the selection of games is excellent. Parimatch offers a great online casino and a brilliant live casino, where you can find over 100 live casino games.
Since the time we originally started the review, the banking options have considerably increased with Parimatch.
As of now, they offer low deposit options through credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard, and Netbanking options available fro Rs. 551 onwards. Apart from that, regular e-wallets such as Neteller, Skrill, Jeton, MuchBetter are already available.
In our experience, deposit process was swift and convenient.
Support at Parimatch is available 24/7 via live chat, email and via WhatsApp or Telegram. The team is experienced, friendly and helpful.
Since there are no further information to be found on the website, you are likely going to have to contact the team, if you have any questions. There is no help section, no FAQs, no full terms and conditions to be found anywhere. That’s rather annoying, so be sure to chat with the team, if anything is unclear.
The Parimatch software is quite modern. The sportsbook is super simply organised, listing all the sports you can bet on and your betslip on the right-hand side. You can drill down according to each sport to find the available cricket markets, cricket betting options and the odds.
There isn’t much in terms of background information or stats. It’s simple and if you are new to online betting, you may just like it that way.
The casino looks completely different, with a sidebar menu for the different game categories and prominent icons to sort the providers. We get a dark background, colourful game icons and easy navigation as well.
Again, our main gripe is the lack of links providing further information.
You will also be able to access the sportsbook and casino via your mobile device. Interestingly, Parimatch even makes an app for Android devices available for download.
Honestly, Parimatch is a bit of an odd one. The international sportsbook doesn’t even feature cricket, but if you access is as a punter from India, you’ll find cricket in a prominent position. Whilst there aren’t tons of markets, the number of betting options compares to what you can usually find elsewhere as well.
The sportsbook is super simple in its organisation, which may irritate experienced punters, but it could be an advantage for newbies.
The online casino is excellent and so is the live casino. You get to peruse a range of bonuses and can play plenty of tournaments as well.
Parimatch is certainly not our first choice for cricket betting in India, but it is an option, if you want to check it out.
