Team Abu Dhabi

Team Abu Dhabi had finished third on the points table last year, but had a disappointing start to its latest campaign, losing the opening encounter against the defending champions Deccan Gladiators.

Some of the key players from the last season, including Chris Gayle, Liam Livingstone, and Marchant de Lange are missing from the squad this season. Philip Salt was the top scorer for the team last season, and will once again be the player to watch out for. Supporting him will be the new entrants, Chris Lynn and Brandon King, both of whom have a pretty good record.

The bowling looks pretty solid too, as it has a perfect balance of fast and slow bowlers. Mustafizur Rahman, Andrew Tye, and Naveen ul-Haq will lead the pace attack, while Adil Rasheed is expected to join the squad at a later stage. Both the spinners, Peter Hatzoglou and Fabian Allen were pretty decent in the last match, picking up 4 wickets between them. 

Delhi Bulls

The Bulls made a perfect start to the tournament, defeating the Northern Warriors in a closely fought game. The top-order batsmen, especially Tim David and Tom Banton played well to take the Bulls to a total of 119. That total was looking inadequate at one stage, but Shiraz Ahmed came up with an excellent last over, picking up 3 wickets for just 1 run to give the Bulls a memorable win.

The Delhi Bulls squad has seen a lot of changes since the last season and has seen some high-profile exits in the form of Eoin Morgan, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and Sherfane Rutherford. The management has brought in some T20 specialists like Tom Banton and Tim David. Dwayne Bravo is once again leading the team.

Another notable inclusion in the squad is Harbhajan Singh, who is playing his first season in the T10 League. Dominic Drakes was the leading wicket-taker for the team and will be hoping to put up a similar performance.
