Team Abu Dhabi

The Team Abu Dhabi is being led by Chris Lynn in this competition. They provided a poor show in their last game. Their batters failed miserably in this match against New York Strikers and managed to score just 78 runs in their innings. The Abu Dhabi outfit lost to the Deccan side earlier in the league stages of the season. Lynn will be looking for his team to go full throttle to make it to the next stage of the competition. Both the Team Abu Dhabi openers Alex Hales and Chris Lynn failed in the last match. It will be crucial to get a good opening wicket partnership from these openers to decide the fortunes of their team.

James Vince did not have a good season. But he has to come good in this game together with other members of the middle order such as Alishan Sharafu and Brandon King. The Abu Dhabi team will also need other members of the side such as Andrew Tye and Adil Rashid to fire in this game. As far as the Abu Dhabi bowling attack is concerned their two front-line bowlers Naveen ul-Haq and Peter Hatzoglou have been doing a fair job for their team. Their team management will be hoping for more tight spells from this duo in this vital match.

Andre Tye has some issues with his line of attack and there will be immense pressure on him to get things right at this stage. Adil Rashid and David Payne have to provide their best for the team to have a semblance of a chance in this game. Deccan Gladiators

The Deccan Gladiators team went down to Morrisville Samp Army in their last encounter by a margin of 19 runs. The Nicholas Pooran-led team provided a poor outing with the ball and it cost them the match. Pooran would be looking to get his team members to draw inspiration from this last win against the Abu Dhabi outfit and give a better overall performance. Pooran himself has been in terrific form. Another batter that is doing well with him is his opening partner Tom Kohler-Cadmore. Both these batters will try and wrest the initiative away from their opposition in this game early at the top of the order.

Andre Russell is another destructive batter playing in the middle order for Deccan Gladiators. He needs to put his quick-scoring abilities to good use and put up a decent quantity of runs with Odean Smith and Will Smead in the Deccan middle order. Adeel Malik and David Wiese add a lot of firepower to the batting order lower down. The Deccan Gladiators' bowling attack must recover quickly from the debacle in their last effort. They will need their top bowlers such as Mohammad Hasnain and Joshua Little to bowl to a plan, especially with the new ball.

Odean Smith is a good bowler and is especially useful in this format of the game. He will be trying to get wickets for Deccan Gladiators with Andre Russell, Zahoor Khan, and David Weise.
