Abu Dhabi Knight Riders

Abu Dhabi Knight Riders have struggled with their batting in every match so far and nothing seems to be working for them. Their big-name players like Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, and Brandon Kings have not really fired. Russell scored a 50 in a losing cause in the previous match but he needs to bat further up the order if he is to have the kind of impact his team needs. 

It is difficult to bank on the batting lineup of this team to do well at this stage in the tournament because nothing that they have done so far has worked. 

To make matters worse, the Knight Riders have conceded a lot of runs in most matches as well. Akeal Hosein, Lahiru Kumara, and Sunil Narine (the three regular bowlers) were quite good in the previous match but the rest of the bowlers suffered so much punishment that the Knight Riders ended up conceding 219 runs. 

The morale in the team is low and the outlook is gloomy. 

MI Emirates

MI Emirates have been waiting on the sidelines for some time and would be well rested coming into this match. They have a strong batting lineup that has done quite well for them in IL T20 2023 so far with Nicholas Pooran being in particularly great form. 

Kieron Pollard has also been batting well but we think the main person to cause damage could be Will Smeed. One of the crop of English youngsters that bat in an ultra-aggressive fashion, Smeed is capable of scoring big runs as well. 

We think MI Emirates has an advantage when it comes to batting strength. 

The bowling lineup is also very strong with Imran Tahir, Dwayne Bravo, and Trent Boult turning back the years. Fazalhaq Farooqi and Zahoor Khan also ensure that there are no easy overs for the opposition.
