Bangladesh
Bangladesh suffered injuries to Ibadat Hussain and Shakib Al Hasan in the first test match. This meant that they were effectively playing with just three bowlers on a flat pitch. this was never going to be successful against a strong batting lineup like India.
As a result, Bangladesh is expected to add Nasum Ahmed to the lineup alongside Taskin Ahmed.
We don't think these changes are going to make Bangladesh a world-class test side but they will allow it to compete to the best of its abilities. The biggest challenge for Bangladesh to overcome is a lack of runs from its leading batters. They have not been able to score consistently or just get enough runs on the board in Test Match cricket.
Litton Das and Majmul Hossain Shanto are still finding the right rhythm with which to bat in the longest format of the game. Shakib Al Hasan is perhaps the only batter you can bank on.
We think three spinners (Taijul Islam, Nasum Ahmed, and Mehidy Hasan Miraz) will play this match alongside Taskin Ahmed and Khaled Ahmed. This gives it a strong bowling lineup with which it should be able to take advantage of a pitch that generally takes sharp spin.

The batting lineup is very strong with KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Rishab Pant, and Shreyas Iyer in the top-6. Almost all of these batters have scored runs in the previous match and are in good form. On a spinning pitch, we think Rishab Pant and Shreyas Iyer are the best batters for India. You can back them to get some runs in this match as well.
Also, Axar Patel and R Ashwin are genuine all-rounders in sub-continental conditions. Both of them are also going to lead the bowling effort alongside Kuldeep Yadav. The spin options at India's disposal are much better than what Bangladesh has and that is a huge advantage.
