After a long and hard tussle with sixteen teams taking on each other across four weekends, we have our finalists for the ECN Czech Super Series T10. Bohemian CC who qualified from Group A were the first team to mark their place, Prague Barbarians Vandals from Group B were the second one, Prague Spartans Vanguards from Group C narrowly managed to sneak in, and Brno Rangers from Group D became the latest team to qualify for the playoffs.
Bohemian CC will be the first team to feature on the finals day and will be taking on Prague Spartans Vanguards and Prague Barbarians Vandals in their first and second matches respectively. Because the format of the tournament is such, all the teams involved finished at the top in their respective groups and competition is expected to be immense. The match between Bohemian CC and Vandals will be played at Scott Page Field, Vinor Cricket Ground, Prague, on 11th July 2020.
With impressive wins over Prague CC Kings and Prague Barbarian Visigoths, Bohemian CC were flawless in their campaign in the league stage. They finished at the top of the league table and defeated Prague CC Kings once again to qualify for the finals weekend.
Bohemian Cricket Club are coming into the finals weekend undefeated, largely because of the superb contributions from their all-rounders in the league stage. Sazib Bhulyan was the pick of their players as he contributed with 42 runs in three innings and picked up seven wickets as well. While Sazib Bhulyan will hold the key to Bohemian Cricket Club's fortunes, a lot will depend on how their other players perform.
The likes of Abul Farhad, Saqlain Saqib, and Javed Iqbal Khan as well. Javed Khan, the skipper of Bohemian CC is known for his hard-hitting abilities and can roll his arm as well. He picked up three wickets in the league stage and expended runs at an economy rate of 7.33.
On paper, Bohemian CC have good talented players available at their disposal, but they seem to be a tad over-reliant on their all-rounders. It is not going to be as easy for them as it was in the league stage and they would need their specialist players to bring out their A-game. If they can do that, the fans will be in for a spectacle of a match.
Pratap R Jagtap, Abul Farhad, Saqlain Saqib Mukhtar, Zahid Mahmood, Ravindra Singh Bist, Waseem Sardar Khan, Javed Iqbal, Saurabh Kakaria, Ali Waqar, Waheed Ur-Rehman, Sazib Bhuiyan.
Prague Barbarians Vandals is perhaps the most experienced team of the tournament, as far as the aggregate experience of players involved in concerned. They have the services of several Czech Republic national team members and their exeperience could come in handy, especially in crunch situations.
Sabawoon Davizi, their left-handed opener, is their most experienced player and he looked in prolific touch in the league stage as well. He scored 154 runs in five innings at an average of 38.50 including one fifty. He contributed not only with the bat, but also with the ball as he picked up six wickets at an average of 9.50. His economy rate of 8.14, however, was a bit on the higher side.
Honey Gori - Vandals' other opener started the league stage slowly, but finished off things with a bang. He is known to play aggressive cricket right from the outset and will be a key player for Vandals on the match day. He was the second highest scorer for the Vandals with 95 runs in five innings.
On paper, Prague Barbarians Vandals appear to be a fantastic unit. Pradeep Gangappa led them brilliantly in the league stage as they bounced back to win their Group after facing a heart-wrenching defeat in their opening fixture. With an excellent amalgamation of all-rounders and specialists, Prague Barbarians Vandals appear to be one of the best-balanced teams of the tournament, and getting past them is not going to be easy for any side.
Jafar Stooman, Divyendra Singh, Sagar Madhireddy, Birendra Kumar, Sabawoon Davizi, Pankaj Kumar, Jahanur Hoque, Uday Gali, Pradeep Gangappa, Honey Gori, Andrew Sim.
Although this match is scheduled to be played around noon, we could see rain play its part. Considering that, we expect both the captains a bit tentative to bat first. The team batting second will have an added advantage of knowing the conditions better. We expect the team winning the toss to field first.

The weather prediction for Prague on Saturday is rain in the morning and partly cloudy thereafter. Considering that the Vinor Cricket Ground does not have the best drainage facilities around, too much rain in the morning could force teams to share the points. Having said that, the surface on which the match will be played is artificial and if the game happens, there is unlikely to be a major change in the surface. The outfield could be slowish and scoring runs through grounded shots will be difficult. A total of anything over 80 could be a challenge to chase down.

With a finale spot on stake, the importance of this match cannot be overstated. Both sides are expected to come hard at each other and we expect it to be a cracker of a contest. On paper and as per the performance of the two sides in the league stage, Prague Barbarians Vandals appear to be a more complete team with almost all of their players contributing. They have the services of some of the most experienced players in Czech Cricket and beating them is going to be tough. Even though Bohemian CC would have a better idea of the conditions after playing a game earlier on the day, betting on a Vandals' win should be the way to go in the upcoming encounter.
