The Bangla Tigers and the Qalandars would be disappointed to not be taking part in the grand final of the T10 League but a third-place finish is still going to get them motivated. This match is going to be played just before the T10 Final and will allow the players to showcase what they are capable of once more.
A big crowd is expected to turn up and they can hope for some fireworks as the players can play completely unshackled now.
Bangla Tigers vs Qalandars T10 League 3rd Place Play-Off is going to be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on the 24th of November 2019.
Rilee Rossouw played an excellent inning of 55 not out from 29 deliveries but it was not enough to get his side to a winning total in the previous match. A total of 107 can be seen as just about par for the venue and the Bangla Tigers bowling was not good enough to keep the Deccan Gladiators from chasing it down.
We may some changes in the side for this match but overall the batting lineup is going to remain largely the same. Andre Fletcher, Rilee Rossow, Colin Ingram, and Thisara Perera are the core of this batting lineup. Chirag Suri also played a very good inning in the previous match and should get another go.
The problem for the Bangla Tigers has been consistency. Andre Fletcher is perhaps the one batsman that can score runs at the demonic pace needed in T10 cricket. He seems to go for sixes from the first ball but is not able to play substantial innings too often.
Sending Robbie Frylinck or even David Wiese up the order to have a go is not a bad idea either because just making them sit in the dugout is of no use.
Both these all-rounders are going to play a major role in the bowling department as well.
The Bangla Tigers are not the strongest bowling side but in Qais Ahmed, they have a very good spinner to try and play the attacking role.
The limitations of the Bangla Tigers have become quite obvious over the course of this tournament and it is a failure of leadership to not be able to address them or at least try to as the matches have gone on.
ADS Fletcher , Rilee Rossouw, Colin Ingram, Chirag Suri, Thisara Perera, Prabath Jayasuriya, R Frylinck, D Wiese, Farhad Reza, Tom Moores, Kevin Koththiigoda.
The Qalandars suffered a massive setback when the Pakistani players it had picked up during the auction were not released because of other commitments. It then pivoted and set up a reasonably strong squad that was made primarily of English players.
Luke Ronchi, Dawid Malan, Philip Salt, Laurie Evans, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Jordan Clark, George Garton, and Samit Patel were the English players that played the previous game. Tom Banton is also in the squad and we hope that he gets a chance to play this match.
The players in the Qalandars side are very good but they have struggled to be at their best in Abu Dhabi conditions. The slow conditions that help the slower bowlers and cutters are not something that the English players face a lot off and so it can take some time for them to adjust.
Still, as inherently food T20 players, they have been able to find a way to win crucial matches.
The onus of scoring runs will be on Luke Ronchi at the top of the order and Tom Banton if he plays.
Jordan Clark was very good with the ball in the previous match and should get another game as well. Samit Patel, Lahiru Kumara, and George Galton have been pretty okay and not lived up to our expectations frankly.
The Qalandars were one of the weaker sides to enter this year’s T10 League and o make it this far is creditable. Winning the third position would be an excellent result for them.
Luke Ronchi, Dawid Malan, Amjad Gul, Philip Salt, Laurie Evans, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Sultan Ahmed, George Garton, PD Trego, SR Patel, Jordan Clark.

The Sheikh Zayed Stadium has proven to be an excellent venue for the T10 League. The surfaces have remained remarkably consistent even though a large number of matches are being played on them day after day.
The pitch has started to become a little bit slower, though, and this is why a total of around 110 may be tough to chase down.
The weather is expected to be good for the entire day.

We think that the Bangla Tigers have a good chance of winning this match. Neither side is perfect but the Bangla Tigers has more players suited to the conditions and a better set of all-rounders to give it balance. The Qalandars have to play out of their skins to be able to win this one and we don’t see it happening.
Bet on the Bangla Tigers to win.
