The final few matches of the Gt20 Canada 2010 are about to get underway as the group stages have come to an end we have the teams that have qualified for the playoffs. The weather is a bit of a concern moving forward as well. Two out of the three the Round 2 matches were washed out and that is not how the fans or the organizers want to arrive at the conclusion of an exciting tournament.
The GT20 2019 playoffs are going to start with the Qualifier 1 which is going to feature the Brampton Wolves and the Vancouver Knights, the teams that were top-2 after the group stages.
Brampton Wolves vs Vancouver Knights GT20 Canada 2019 Qualifier 1 is going to be played at the CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario on the 8th of August 2019.
The Brampton Wolves have lost just one match in the GT20 Canada so far and that is to the Vancouver Knights. That match was also the last one that both teams played since their next one was rained out.
The strength for the Brampton Wolves has been their ability to find one of their players to put in a strong batting performance. That did not happen against the Vancouver Knights in the previous game and that is something that they will be keen to rectify.
Lendl Simmons, Colin Munro, and Andre Fletcher are going to be the headliners leading the batting attack although players such as Babar Hayat, George Munsey, and Nitish Kumar have contributed in previous matches.
The bowling has two very talented international wicket-takers to help it bowl the opposition out. Wahab Riaz and Ish Sodhi are extremely experienced T20 international players and will be able to raise their game for the big matches.
Junaid Siddiqui, Colin Munro, and Cecil Pervez will round out the bowling attack.
LMP Simmons, George Munsey, Colin Munro, SMSK Afridi, B Hayat, Nitish Kumar, Wahab Riaz, IS Sodhi, Cecil Pervez, Abraash Khan, Junaid Siddiqui.
Chris Gayle played a big role for the Vancouver Knights in their last couple of games but he is not going to be available for the remainder of the tournament since he is going to be playing ODI cricket for the West Indies against India.
That is a big loss for the Vancouver Knights and finding a replacement for the big West Indian is not going to be easy.
Chadwick Walton may be promoted up the order and asked to open the batting in Gayle’s absence.
The role of Tobias Visee, Shoaib mali, and Andre Russell becomes very important in the absence of Chris Gayle.
The Vancouver Knights have two very impressive fast bowlers on their roster. Ali Khan is the most recognizable cricket name to come out from the USA and Daniel Sams is a very talented Aussie left-armer. Both of them are going to have the task of reducing the opposition top-order to bits and helping their team get a win.
This is where we believe the game is going to be won or lost. If the Brampton Wolves are able to score freely against the Vancouver Knights fast bowlers then it is going to be very difficult for the Knights to be able to make a comeback.
Hayden Walsh, Michael Rippon, and Saad Bin Zafar are some of the other bowlers that have been able to make an impact in the Canada GT20.
Tobias Visee, CAK Walton, RVD Dussen, Shoaib Malik, Andre Russell, Hayden Walsh, Daniel Sams, MJ Rippon, Saad Bin Zafar, Ali Khan, Rayyan Pathan.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to field first.

Brampton Wolves vs Vancouver Knights GT20 Canada Qualifier 1 is going to be played at the CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario. The forecast for the first half of matchday in Brampton is not very good. There are some scattered thunderstorms predicted which could make it impossible to play.
Hopefully, the rain will miss the ground and allow an exciting match to be played.
The small ground, good batting pitch, and strong batsmen should all equal a high-scoring encounter.
We think the Vancouver Knights have a better bowling attack for this match and that could allow them to compete well. The Brampton Wolves, though, have been in better form and have the better batting and this is why we think they will win.
Bet on the Brampton Wolves to win.
