Barbados is getting ready to host two teams that are in an excellent state in the CPL right now. The home team, the Barbados Tridents, have won two of their four matches while the Guyana Warriors have five wins from five matches and are sitting right at the top of the table.
This is going to be the second time that the two sides are playing each other in CPL 2019. The first time ended up being a one-sided match which the Guyana Amazon Warriors won with ease. Since then, though, the Barbados Tridents have hit some decent form and will hope to put up a better show.
Barbados Tridents vs Guyana Amazon Warriors CPL 2019 is going to be played the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.
The T20 Blast finals are over and Alex Hales should be on a flight to join the Barbados Tridents. We are not sure if he is going to be able to play this upcoming match but it is likely that he is going to be able to join the team in time.
Alex Hales’s return is going to make things interesting for the Barbados Tridents selection team. Justin Greaves made an immediate impact at the top of the order as he scored 57 in his first match. Johnson Charles, JP Duminy, and Jonathan Carter also played a decent hand.
Dropping any of these batsmen is going to be tough but it is something that has to be done.
Maybe one of the all-rounders can be dropped to extend the batting lineup.
Either way, this is a good problem to have for the Barbados Tridents. They will want their batting lineup to at its best against what has been the strongest side of CPL 2019 so far.
The bowling is going to be led by Jason Holder, Joshua Bishop, and Sandeep Lamichhane with JP Duminy also chipping in. This is perhaps the weaker part of the Barbados Tridents game and is going to be tested the most against the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
Leniko Boucher, AD Hales, Jonathan Carter, J Charles, Jason Holder, Jean-Paul Duminy, Ashley Nurse, Justin Greaves, Sandeep Lamichhane, Josh Lalor, Raymon Reifer.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors have been brilliant in CPL 2019. Their batting has been outperforming expectations and every single player is contributing. Shoaib Malik was the one player that seemed to be struggling in the middle order and even he came to the party with 67 not out from just 37 balls in the previous match.
Shimron Hetmyer likes playing in the CPL and is showing just why he is rated so highly in the region. He made 44 in the previous game to go with some match-winning innings he has already played.
Brandon King and Chandrapaul Hemraj have been pretty good at the top of the order as well. The opening partnership was one we were a bit skeptical about but these two players have ensured that the Guyana Amazon Warriors do not have to worry about getting starts.
Nicholas Pooran and Sherfane Rutherford make the Guyana Amazon Warriors very dangerous in the middle order as well. We rate Sherfane Rutherford very highly and expect him to play a blistering inning soon in CPL 2019.
Chris Green, Imran Tahir, and Qais Ahmed give the Guyana Amazon Warriors three very good spin-bowling options. Not only are these three difficult to score off but they also almost always end up taking wickets.
If the wicket in Barbados has anything to offer then they are going to be very difficult to face.

Barbados Tridents vs Guyana Amazon Warriors CPL 2019 is going to be played the Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. The weather forecast for this game is not very good. There is a lot of rain in the region and we could have another truncated or washed-out game on our hands.
The pitch at the Kensington Oval is very flat and good for batting. We should see plenty of runs being scored if the opportunity to play some cricket does arrive.
A 20 over game is already difficult to call because one good inning can change the match but this becomes much more so when the match becomes even shorter. We advise betting only a small amount on this match because the uncertainty level is quite high. If, however, the rain relents and a full game is possible then bet on Guyana’s unbeaten streak to continue.
Bet on the Guyana Amazon Warriors to win.
