The Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Barbados Tridents are going to be playing against each other for the second time in three days. This is the penultimate match for the Barbados Tridents and the final one for the Warriors. It appears as if the Guyana Amazon Warriors have enough win to their name to be able to make it to the semis but we are sure they would like to finish third and avoid TKR is possible.
The defending champions are in a much more precarious position. They have to win this match to have any chance of qualifying for the semis. The Tridents also have to hope that the Tallawahs and the Patriots lose most of their remaining matches.
A lot needs to go right for the Barbados Tridents to be able to get into the semis.
Barbados Tridents vs Guyana Amazon Warriors CPL T20 2020 is going to be played at the Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad on the 3rd of September 2020.
The Barbados Tridents were hopeless in their previous match against the Guyana Amazon Warriors. Their top-6 players combined to score 20 runs total. Had it not been for Mitchell Santner, Rashid Khan, and Hayden Walsh, the team may have struggled to reach 60 runs as well.
We knew that the Tridents had a weak batting lineup going into CPL 2020 but this is a whole different level of ineptitude. It is difficult to see the Barbados Tridents really turn things around at this late stage in the tournament. They may just have to wait for the next edition to make a mark and they may be knocked out in this match.
Kyle Mayers is perhaps the one batsman that could make a difference as he has shown some glimpses of true talent this season.
A bowling attack that has Rashid Khan, Mitchell Santner, and Hayden Walsh on spin-friendly wickets has not been able to get too many wins for the Tridents. To be fair, they have not had many runs to defend either and that makes all the difference.
On paper, the Barbados Tridents have some genuine match-winners but their form has been questionable.
Johnson Charles, Kyle Mayers, Shamarh Brooks, Justin Greaves, Jason Holder, Mitchell Santner, Ashley Nurse, Rashid Khan, Raymon Reifer, Hayden Walsh Jr, Nyeem Young.
By the time this match rolls around, the Guyana Amazon Warriors would have played a match against the St. Lucia Zouks as well. The result of that match is going to have a big bearing on how the Warriors approach this match. If the Tridents win and are assured of third place, they may want to rest some of their key players ahead of the semi-finals. In that case, be wary of an upset.
If, however, the Guyana Amazon Warriors play their full-strength side, then it is difficult to see them lose to the Tridents.
After a slow start to CPL 2020, the Guyana Amazon Warriors are coming into their own at just the right time in the tournament. They have won their previous two matches and some of their best players are hitting form.
Brandon King got runs in the previous match, Nicholas Pooran smashed a century in the one before, and the bowling has improved steadily as well. In terms of batting, the Guyana Amazon Warriors are a way better side than the Barbados Tridents.
We have a few concerns about the form of Imran Tahir. One of the best T20 bowlers at his best, he has been under par in this tournament. Chris Green and Naveen-ul-Haq were brilliant in the last match, though, and that should give the Warriors some confidence.
Their bowling is a bit weak and can be taken for runs.
Nicholas Pooran, Ross Taylor, Shimron Hetmyer, Brandon King, Chandrapaul Hemraj, Kevin Sinclair, Imran Tahir, Christopher Green, Naveen-ul-Haq, Romario Shepherd, Sherfane Rutherford.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first. The conditions become more spin-friendly as the match progresses. Batting first or second has not proven to be a big differentiator in this tournament.

This is an evening match and that is the time when any rain that falls during the day seems to subside. We are pretty confident of getting a full, uninterrupted match. As far as the pitch goes, it is spinner-friendly, slow, and is going to continue to be the same for this match as well. Anything around 150 is competitive batting first.
Dream11 tips and Dream11 team for BT vs GAW CPL 2020
We have no hesitation in backing the Guyana Amazon Warriors in this match as well. The Barbados Tridents have been nothing short of shambolic in CPL 2020. The better batting lineup of the Warriors as well as the improved form of its bowlers should enough to get it a win.
Just be sure to check the actual playing eleven before placing your bets.
Bet on the Guyana Amazon Warriors to win.
T20 cricket is typically a batsman's game but the Barbados Tridents seem intent on proving otherwise. They have been one of the worst sides when it comes to batting consistency. We think you have a great chance of winning this bet in their inning alone forget the match! Starting has been difficult in CPL T20 and there have been plenty of zeros scored. Take a punt on this one.
This is one of the our favorite bets that not a lot of bookmakers offer. One batsman from any side needs to get past 50 for you to win. This does not happen in all matches but does happen in most and thus the odds are low. As a safe banker bet, it does not get better than this. Remeber you are getting 30% return on your bet here as well!
This is why we love accumulators and no one offers as many as 1xBet. 8.5x returns for betting on two of the best T20 bowlers to do their job! Yes, the risk of losing is more because of two events have to go your way (each bowler beihng the top bowler in his side) but the returns are worth the risk. A small bet here will get you phenomenal returns. Go for it!
