The Victorians scored a thumping win in their last outing against the Khulna Tigers. Chasing a huge target of 211 runs, the Victorians received a couple of early setbacks as Litton Das had to retire hurt and Imrul Kayes fell cheaply. However, Mohammad Rizwan and Johnson Charles mounted an assault on the Khulna bowlers, putting up a 122-run partnership.
Rizwan fell for a well-made 73, while Charles went on till the end of the innings to score a brilliant century. The Comilla batsmen are in excellent form and are well-placed to take advantage of the average Challengers’ bowling. Khushdil Shah has proved to be a good buy for the Victorians as he has scored 176 runs and has also picked up 8 wickets.
Talking about the bowling, the pace attack will be spearheaded by Mustafizur Rahman and Naseem Shah, while Tanvir Islam and Mosaddek Hossain will take care of the spin.
