Chattogram Challengers

As far as the batting department is concerned, the Chattogram team will rely on the likes of Mehedi Maruf, Curtis Campher, Shuvagata Hom, Khawaja Nafay, Afif Hossain, and Usman Khan to do most of the run-scoring for their team. In their last game, Afif Hossain showed top form with the bat to finish the innings with a score of 66 runs from 49 balls. Hossain was well-supported by the team wicketkeeper batter Usman Khan who also scored a half-century in the match. Khan hit 52 runs from 41 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 4 boundaries.

As far as the bowling department is concerned the Challengers outfit will rely on people such as Mehdi Hasan Rana, Ziaur Rahman, Curtis Campher, Nihaduzzaman, and Mrittunjoy Chowdhary to give them timely breakthroughs. In the last game for Chattogram, Mehedi Hasan Rana was the top bowler for the team with a couple of wickets for 27 runs from his quota of 4 overs. Apart from Rana, Mrittunjoy Chowdhary also had a good outing with the ball to claim 2 wickets for 35 runs in his 4 overs.

The last game played by Chattogram Challengers was against Comilla Victorians. This 35th game of the competition saw Chattogram Challengers scoring 156 runs while batting first for the loss of 7 wickets. Comilla Victorians however chased down this decent total put on the board by the Challengers for the loss of 4 wickets in 19 overs. After a bad start to their innings which saw a couple of wickets going down early in the inning, there was a good partnership for the third wicket between Usman Khan and Afif Hossain that took the Challengers' total to respectability.

Dhaka Dominators

Dhaka Dominators have achieved just 3 wins in the competition so far from 11 games played. They are currently lying right at the bottom of the points table for the league. As far as the batting department is concerned, the team will depend on the players such as Soumya Sarkar, Alex Blake, Abdullah Al Mamun, and Mohammad Mithun for doing most of the run-getting. In the last game for Dhaka, Ariful Haque managed to score 29 runs from 26 balls with 1 six and 2 fours. Abdullah Al Mamun also contributed 23 runs from 27 balls in the match.

As far as the bowling department is concerned, the team will rely on the players such as Nasir Hossain, Amir Hamza, Arafat Sunny, Muktar Ali, and Shoriful Islam to get vital breakthroughs for the side. The pick of the bowlers for the Dhaka Dominators team was their off-spinner Nasir Hossain. He picked up 4 wickets for 20 runs from his quota of 4 overs. Apart from Nasir Hossain, fast bowler Shoriful Islam also picked up 3 wickets for 18 runs from his quota of 18 runs in the game.

Batting first, Dhaka Dominators managed to put up a score of 130 runs for the loss of 8 wickets on the board. in reply to the score, Rangpur Riders were put to test by the Dhaka bowlers. But the Rangpur Riders managed to scrape past the opposition in the end in the 20th over of the match with 2 wickets and 3 balls in hand.
