The Delhi Bulls and the Bangla Tigers are going to play their first match of the T10 League 2021 edition against each other. All of the teams are well-stocked and the format lends itself to uncertainty.
This is something that makes the T10 tournament very exciting and engaging for the fans.
The matches come thick and fast in this format, though, and so getting off to a good start is very important.
Delhi Bulls vs Bangla Tigers T10 League 2021 is going to be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on the 28th of January 2021.
The Delhi Bulls have some very good T20 names in their squad and it looks like they should be able to adapt to the new shortest format of the game pretty well.
The batting is going to be led by Evin Lewis and Adam Lyth at the top of the order. We all know what Evin Lewis is capable of and his ability to start hitting sixes from the very first ball is just staggering. Adam Lyth is a smart choice. He plays for Yorkshire and has turned into one of the most dangerous batsmen of the T20 Blast competition. Rahmanullah Gurbaz is in great form and is going to be a big asset to the team as well.
Mohammad Nabi, Sherfane Rutherford, Dasun Shanaka, Ravi Bopara, and Tom Abell are the other all-round options that can all contribute with the bat regularly.
There is plenty of six-hitting power in this lineup and their presence adds a lot of flexibility to the side as well.
Dwayne Bravo, Ali Khan, Dushmanth Chameera, and Fidel Edwards are some of the better bowling options in the team. The lack of a quality spinner could be something that sets the Delhi Bulls back.
Evin Lewis, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Adam Lyth, RS Bopara, Mohammad Nabi, Sherfane Rutherford, Dwayne Bravo, Kashif Daud, Amad Butt, Ali Khan, FH Edwards.
The Bangla Tigers seem a bit understaffed when compared to some of the other teams but they also have some proven match-winners to depend on. The T10 format can be won by just one batsman and so looking too much into the depth of the team is probably not warranted.
Andre Fletcher, Johnson Charles, and David Wiese are all veterans of the T10 format. They are going to be very dangerous because of their ability to smack sixes without taking any time to get set.
All three of them are prone to get carried away and throwing their wickets, though.
Chirag Suri, Atif Hossain, and Tom Moores are some of the other batsmen in the squad that can make an impact.
Isuru Udana will lead the bowling attack and his change of pace is going to be very effective. Qais Ahmad, Mujeeb ur Rahman, Noor Ahmed, and Mohammad Irfan form what is one of the best and most varied bowling attacks of the T10 league.
This is an area where the Bangla Tigers have a big advantage over the Delhi Bulls.
Tom Moores, Johnson Charles, ADS Fletcher, Afif Hossain, Chirag Suri, Karim Janat, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Qais Ahmad, Mohammad Irfan, George Garton, Fazal Haque.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bowl first. That should be seen as a big advantage as has been proven in the short history of this format.

The conditions are going to be good for cricket. There is no threat of rain and the pitch is going to be absolutely flat. The nature of the Abu Dhabi wicket is a bit slow and helpful for the spinners. That will only get more pronounced as the matches progress.
We think a score of around 100 is going to be a good score batting first.
We are going to back the Bangla Tigers in this contest. They seem to have a very good bowling attack and a few attacking batsmen that will be able to take the attack to the opposition. The Delhi Bulls may find it a bit tough to get their team balance right.
Bet on the Bangla Tigers to win.
