Two unbeaten teams in the Mzansi Super League 2019 are going to be taking on each other in this match. Paarl Rocks won its first match against Cape Town Blitz thanks to a sparkling bowling performance while Durban Heat had to sit and watch the rainfall as its match against the Tshwane Spartans was rained out.
Now, both these teams are going to lock horns in Kingsmead, Durban.
Durban Heat was one of the disappointing teams of last season and would want some better weather in Durban to play in front of its home crowd. Paarl Rocks have had the best possible start to its campaign and would love for a chance to build on that start as well.
Durban Heat vs Paarl Rocks MSL 2019 is going to be played at Kingsmead, Durban on the 15th of November 2019.
The home fans were left waiting for the rain to abate so that they could see their superstars light up the venue. That did not happen and the forecast is not very good for this match either. Still, we have to hope for some play because that is all we can do at the moment.
Durban Heat has some tremendous batsmen in its squad like Alex Hales, David Miller, Dane Vilas, Ravi Bopara, Khaya Zondo, Andile Phehlukwayo, and Wihan Lubbe. Its a strong batting side on paper and should be able to give any other side in the tournament a real fight.
The pressure will be on the senior players to lead the way, though, and this is where we think the captaincy of Dane Vilas is going to make a big difference. He has the experience needed to lead T20 sides in big T20 tournaments and has had a lot of success in recent times.
He is known for maximizing the resources at his disposal and that is why we fell Durban Heat may be a far better team this time around.
David Miller, Alex Hales, and Andile Phehlukwayo are match-winners of international repute while the others are very good players on the T20 circuit as well.
The bowling is a bit light for Durban Heat as Keshav Maharaj and Kyle Abbott are the only two out and out bowlers in the squad. All-rounders like Andile Phehlukwayo, Daryn Dupavillon, Malusi SIboto, and Shaun von Berg are the other players that are going to contribute in the bowling department.
Durban Heat must hope that its batsmen are in good form because we have a feeling that its bowling is going to struggle in MSL T20.

A brilliant bowling performance from Paarl Rocks saw them bundle out Cape Town Blitz for just 84 runs in the previous match. That was truly incredible as Cape Town Blitz has won its previous match after scoring 213 runs.
Tabraiz Shamsi took three wickets to lead the way while Bjorn Fortuin, Hardus Viljoen, and Ferisco Adams were also very impressive. All-rounders, Isuru Udana and Dwaine Pretorius were able to fulfill their jobs in the bowling department without any trouble as well and this bodes well for the Paarl Rocks looking at the future.
There are some more concerns around the batting of the Paarl Rocks, though.
Three batsmen entered the thirties in the opening match but not one of them was able to convert that start into something significant. Henry Davids, Faf du Plessis, and Dwaine Pretorious all batted quite well but got out just when it was their time to turn things up a notch.
A batting side that has Hardus Viljoen batting at number five cannot afford to let starts go to waste and this is why every single top-order batsman must take more responsibility moving forward.
Cameron Delport is an under-rated T20 batsman at the top of the order and is our pick to be one of the highest-scoring individuals this season. We think he is going to contribute in a big manner for the Paarl Rocks if the match is actually played.

The team that wins the toss is going to want to field first because of all the rain around.

We fail to understand why the MSL is scheduled smack bang in the middle of the rainy season every single year. We have already seen more than a couple of matches being washed out in the first week and the forecast is not getting any better either.
A lot of rain is predicted for this match and we just have to pray that we get lucky with the weather to get a result in.
The pitch at Durban may have some moisture in its due to the amount of rain that has fallen and may offer some help to the bowlers. The outfield is also going to be quite slow.
Dream11 Team and Dream11 Prediction for Durban Heat vs Paarl Rocks MSL 2019 is going to lean heavily on the Paarl Rocks, since we believe they are the better team in this fixture and should dominate proceedings. There is the threat of rain around and that could play spoilsport with our plans. A reduced overs match is very tricky and we advise punters to limit the amount of risk they take in such situations.

We don’t think that there is much chance of an uninterrupted match being played out. If we do get a result then it is going to be at the end of a reduced-overs contest. The difference between the two sides becomes much lesser in this case. Overall, though, the better bowling attack of Paarl Rocks should be able to help it win.
Bet on Paarl Rocks to win.
