Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma were both in terrific form and could have actually scored centuries. Marizanne Kapp, Jemimah Rodrigues, Alica Capsey, and Jess Jonassen are all excellent batters capable of playing at a very high strike rate.
In terms of batting firepower, there is no other team that has the same depth.
Tara Norris was excellent with the ball in the previous match and picked up five wickets. DC is the only team to have an associate cricketer on its roster and can thus play five overseas cricketers in the lineup. With Radha Yadav leading the spin department, DC is very well settled.

It looked like the UP Warriorz were done and dusted when they were 105/7 in 15.4 overs chasing 170. Grace Harris, however, decided to show just how deep the Australian talent pool is by playing one of the great counter-attacking innings. She finished with 59 not out of just 26 deliveries. She was also helped by Sophie Ecclestone in the end.
With Alyssa Healy and Tahlia McGrath in the lineup, the UP Warriors have a good batting unit but we think their bowling just looks a bit weak.
It is not realistic to expect innings like Grace Harris to be able to bail them out in every match. We think the UP Warriors could struggle for consistency.
