After two days of cricket in Abu Dhabi T10 League, Group A is in pretty delicate position. Barring Bangla Tigers, all three teams have won a match each and another loss for the Tigers would make things very difficult for them at the back-end of the tournament. Karntaka Tuskers, on the other hand, are in pretty good position and will be eying the top of the table spot when they take on Deccan Gladiators in their upcoming fixture. The match between the two teams is set to be played Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on 18th November.
Deccan Gladiators got off to a poor start in the tournament as they lost their first match to Delhi Bulls in a rather one-sided encounter. They, however, bounced back beautifully as they chased down a reasonably tall total against Bangla Tigers. Consequently, they are now placed at the top of the table and will be looking to retain the position with yet another win.
Although the Gladiators' bowlers failed to weave any magic yesterday against Bangla Tigers, their batsmen ensured that they do not miss out on two important points this time around. Shane Watson, who scored 41 off just 25 deliveries, pretty much drove the chase as they won with one ball to spare and six wickets in hand. Anton Devcich also chipped in with a useful contribution as his 27-run knock, which came in just 11 deliveries, allowed other batsmen to take it a bit easy as far as scoring rate was concerned.
All in all, the problem of inexperienced bowling still remain with the Gladiators. However, as seen in their previous match, they have a terrific batting lineup, which is capable of chasing down any total on their day.
SR Watson, Ben Cutting, Kieron Pollard, Anton Devcich, M Shahzad, Dan Lawrence, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Migael Pretorius, Fawad Ahmed, Zahir Khan, Zahoor Khan.
Karnataka Tuskers couldn't have hoped for a better start in this tournament. They registered a spectacular win over Delhi Bulls, who were at the top of the ladder in Group A standings. Although, they are at the third spot as of now, they have played a game less than the teams placed above them.
Bowling worked wonders for the Tuskers in their opening game - against Delhi Bulls as the likes of Nathan Rimminton, Ahmed Raza, and Sandeep Lamichhane never allowed Bulls to get going. The pick of their bowlers, however, was Pat Brown who picked up two important wickets and gave away just 19 runs. His spell turned out to be a game changing one.
Earlier with the bat, Shafiqullah Shafaq and Upul Tharanga bailed them out of a tricky situation to take them to what was the highest total of the tournament at that time. They ended up putting up a total of 110, which proved to be too much to handle for the bulls.
Hashim Amla, J Charles, Evin Lewis, WU Tharanga, Ross Whiteley, Shafiqullah, Ahmed Raza, PM Pushpakumara, Sandeep Lamichhane, Patrick Brown, S Zadran.

Both the sides are coming into the game with confidence-boosting wins in their respective games. While it was Shane Watson's batting that propelled Gladiators to their first win of the tournament, it was more of an all-around show for the Tuskers. This disparity is also there on-paper as well. The Gladiators lack a strong, well-experienced bowling unit, which could prove to be the difference between the two sides in the upcoming fixture. Therefore, we think that the Tuskers are better placed to emerge on top in the upcoming match and rise to the top of the ladder.
