It is time for some inter-group action in the T10 League as the Deccan Gladiators get ready to take on the Qalandars. Two wins in three matches have meant that the Deccan Gladiators have enjoyed a good start to their tournament while one win, one loss, and a tie for the Qalandars indicates the inconsistency that has been seen in their cricket.
The West Indian players have joined the T10 League and this means that teams have become stronger in recent days.
Deccan Gladiators vs Qalandars T10 League 2019 is going to be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on the 19th of November 2019.
The effect of Kieron Pollard joining the side was instant as helped the Gladiators chase down 110 with a lot of ease. We have seen sides struggle to chase down totals that are above 100 in this tournament and the Deccan Gladiators had lost some early wickets too.
Kieron Pollard, though, took 30 runs off one over from Sandeep Lamivchhane and ensured that there was going to be no doubt about the victor of that contest.
Looking ahead, we think the Deccan Gladiators batsmen have a golden opportunity to attack the relatively weak Qalandars bowling. Players like Mohammad Shahzad, Shane Watson, Anton Devcich, Kieron Pollard, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, and Ben Cutting can continue to play their aggressive brand of cricket without any fear.
They are going to receive a lot of loose balls from the Qalandars bowling attack and just need to be careful of not throwing their wickets away.
The Deccan Gladiators have used their spinners in an attacking manner during the T10 League. Zahir Khan and Fawad Ahmed are used as frontline bowlers to pick up early wickets with faster bowlers used during the death.
We like this strategy and think it will continue to pay off for the Deccan Gladiators. Kieron Pollard, Zahoor Khan, and Ben Cutting provide plenty of options to Shane Watson moving ahead in the tournament.

The Qalandars need to get their act together quickly in this tournament and find a way to raise morale in the camp. They are coming into this match on the back of the lowest score ever recorded in T10 cricket, 60 for the loss of 4 wickets, an absolutely shambolic batting performance.
Losing wickets and not being able to accelerate is understandable but not trying is just another thing altogether.
Tom Banton, Luke Ronchi, Dawid Malan, Phil Salt, Jordan Clark, Chris Jordan, Samit Patel, and George Garton are all Englishman who played the previous match. There is no doubt about the talent of these guys and their experience in T20 cricket but a number of them seem out of their comfort zone in the Abu Dhabi conditions.
Tom Banton is billed as the next big thing in English batting but he seems to be a bit too aware of that tag right now. We think he could be brilliant if he just took his time and played normal cricket instead of trying low-percentage inventive shots every single over.
Chris Jordan is the only world-class T20 bowler in this lineup and we are afraid there is only so much he can do on his own. Sultan Ahmed, Lahiru Kumara, Samit Patel, and the rest are not going to be able to stop some of the lineups in this competition from scoring freely.
The only we can see the Qalandars win matches is on the back of its batting. Tom Banton, Dawid Malan, and Luke Ronchi need to find their best form quickly otherwise the Qalandars are going to be an easy opponent for the other teams I the T10 League.

Winning the toss is a big advantage. Teams choose to field first because more than 70% of all T10 matches have been won by teams chasing.

Sheikh Zayed Stadium has received a lot of applause from the players. It has provided surfaces that are a bit slow but remain consistent throughout the match. The batsmen are able to score freely after getting used to the pace of the wicket. The boundaries are also large enough to make big hits meaningful.
A score of 100 remains the minimum that teams aim for batting first.
Dream11 Team and Dream11 Prediction for Deccan Gladiators vs Qalandars. We are leaning heavily in favor of the Deccan Gladiators in this match and that is clear in the team selection as well. Kieron Pollard and Anton Devcich are the two players that strike us as possible star performers.
