Asad Shafique, who was playing his first match of the season gave him good support and scored a fighting 58 off just 33 deliveries. However, the Stars fought back hard and achieved the target at the very last delivery. Nuwan Thushara has been a good bowling asset for the Gladiators and is second on the top wicket-takers list of the tournament with 9 wickets.
