Delhi

Delhi has lost just 1 game so far and has gone on to win each of its last 3 matches. In its most recent match, Delhi comfortably defeated Goa by 6 wickets, with 3 overs to spare. As a result, it sits in the 2nd spot on the points table, 4 points above UP. 

The middle-order batsmen have played exceptionally well for Delhi throughout this season. Yash Dhull, Nitesh Rana, and Ayush Badoni have all consistently scored runs to ensure Delhi has a chance to make it into the knockout stage. In the match against Goa too, after losing 3 quick wickets, Yash and Nitesh Rana produced a match-winning partnership of 70 runs to see their team through.

However, Delhi’s bowling department hasn’t been consistent enough and has given away way too many runs in most of the matches so far. Navdeep Saini and Kulwant Khejroliya, while bowling well in patches, haven’t troubled the opposition batting too much. 

Tripura

Sitting in 6th place on the points table, the result of this match will be inconsequential for Tripura. Nevertheless, they will be looking to end their campaign on a high. Tripura won its second consecutive match when it defeated Manipur on Thursday. Chasing a modest target of 109, Tripura won comfortably by 8 wickets.

Bikramkumar Das has been the standout batsman for them, scoring 258 runs at an average of more than 50. Sadly, he did not receive much support from others, and Tripura was unable to make the cut. The bowlers too were unable to cause many problems in the opposition ranks. Manisankar Murasingh has picked up 6 wickets so far this season at an average of 22.16.
