A win for Lions in their last match sent them at the top of the table, coincidentally displacing the team they beat, Cape Cobras. Cape Cobras will be looking to regain that top spot as they face Dolphins in their final round-robin contest. While this game may not carry as much significance for the Cape Cobras, the significance of this match cannot really be understated for the Dolphins. With a win in their previous match, Dolphins kept themselves in the hunt for the playoffs. Provided Titans lose to Lions in their games, Dolphins will qualify for the playoffs should they manage to register a win in their upcoming encounter.
Dolphins kept their hopes of qualification to the next round well and truly alive with a much-needed win over Warriors at St George's Park. The win took them to 16 points and another one here will add four more to their tally, one point clear of Titans.
It was Vaughn van Jaarsveld's brilliant hundred which set the tone of the game for the Dolphins. Jaarsveld smashed a brilliant 69-ball 112 which made a mockery of a mediocre 154-run target that Warriors had set.
Earlier with the ball, Keshav Maharaj bowled beautifully in the middle-overs which never allowed Warriors to gather any momentum whatsoever. Even though he picked up only one wicket, he gave away only 18 runs in his four-over spell. Robbie Frylinck and Daryn Dupavillon were brilliant as well as they rocked Warriors early and at the death. All in all, Dolphins have a reasonably good side on paper and if they can play to their potential, Cobras may well have their work cut out on Sunday.
VBV Jaarsveld, Mv Wyk, C Chetty, Khaya Zondo, Andile Phehlukwayo, Senuran Muthusamy, Sibonelo Makhanya, Robbie Frylinck, K Maharaj, P Subrayen, D Dupavillon.
At one moment, Cobras were cruising in the tournament. Not that now they aren't, but their loss against the Lions has certainly robbed a bit of momentum from them. They are still the team with the most number of wins on the points table, five to be precise, and will be looking to rack their sixth win and get into the playoffs with some momentum behind them.
Having done exceedingly well in the tournament thus far, the Cobras' batsmen looked all at bay against the potent bowling attack of Lions. To add to their woes, Hashim Amla has opted out from the remainder of the tournament and even though he hasn't been in the best of the form, his experience could have come in handy going into the business end of the tournament.
All in all, Cape Cobras have a decent unit with both batting and bowling doing well. The return of JP Duminy added to their strength both in the middle order and their bowling. They bat deep with skipper Rory Kleinveldt available to bat at number nine and are a perfectly balanced side with more than five good bowling options available.

In the context of things, this is an important game for both the sides, more so for the Dolphins. Dolphins haven't had the best of the tournament, but they'll certainly draw confidence from their last match win over Warriors. Having said that and comparing the two sides on paper, the Cobras are way ahead and are therefore our pick to emerge on top in the upcoming encounter.
