DOL vs WPR Match Prediction - Feb 12, 2023

The focus will now be off from the SA T20 League as we see CSA Four-day Division 1 tournament resume. The tournament was hanging perfectly in balance before we stopped for this break and we expect it to continue exactly from where it left off. The next few matches are going to be pretty important from the standings as well as the qualification perspective.

Up next in the competition, we have the Dolphins and the Western Provincen all set to take on each other. The two teams are placed at almost the opposite ends of the points table and should make up for an interesting contest. The match is to be played on 12th February 2023 at the Kingsmead Oval, Durban, South Africa.

DOL vs WPR Team Previews

Dolphins

Dolphins have clearly struggled in the tournament so far, having played two matches with zero wins to their name. They are consequently placed at the sixth spot in the ladder and will be desperate to move up. Having said that, a win here will push them into a decent position and that's exactly what they'll be looking for. On paper, the Dolphins have a decent side but they have lacked massively in execution. Their fans and the management will be hoping that they get it right in this game and if that happens, the Western Province will have their work cut out.

Western Province

Contrary to what many expected, Western Province have surprised one and all with the kind of performances they have put in. They never had imposing names in their lineup but the way they have done has been extraordinary. Out of a total of three matches done, the Western Province have ended up winning two. They are sitting pretty at the second spot on the ladder and will be eyeing that top spot. They have done an incredibly good job of using their skills and executing their plans well. If they end up playing the way they have, getting past them could prove to be pretty challenging yet again.

DOL vs WPR Betting Tips

This is an important match in pretty much all contexts and both sides would want to come out on top here, but for different reasons. Western Province would be targeting to get to the top of the ladder whereas the Dolphins would want to get into the thick of things. Considering how the two sides have done, Western Province do look ahead. They have the momentum and have done better in executing their skills. For that and the other reasons stated above, a bet on Western Province should be the way to go here.
