DOL vs WRS Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Mar 28, 2019

After a long tussle, we are finally into the last three matches in the Momentum One Day Cup. As we move into the playoffs, the most prominent feature will the presence of South Africa's international stars who were absent for the most part of the league stage. The second semifinal will be played between Dolphins and Warriors on 28th March at Durban. The presence of South African stars, who of course are not traveling to play Indian Premier League will add to the quality and anticipation of the anticipated clash. While it will be an opportunity to showcase their skills for a couple of players, the rest of the players will be looking to get their names in the eyes of the selectors. Just as most of the clashes in the league stage were, the playoff is expected to be a cracker of a contest.
DOL vs WRS Team Previews
Dolphins
Andile Phehlukwayo, who was in and out of Dolphins lineup right through the tournament, will return back to the squad after having a successful stint for the national side. He had a terrific first few matches with the Dolphins and topped it up with a first-class performance against Sri Lanka for the Proteas with both bat and ball.
Dolphins were the only side that started the tournament on a high, winning four out of their first five matches. However, they lost a bit of momentum towards the back-end of the league stage which as they could win only a couple of games out of their next five.
While the presence of Andile Phehlukwayo will add to Dolphins's power, the absence of David Miller and Imran Tahir - who both have flown to India to play IPL, could be a matter of concern. Also, Rob Frylinck who was brilliant in BPL and in the build-up to the playoffs, won't be available leaving their tail and bowling a little more vulnerable.
Dolphins Playing 11
VBV Jaarsveld, Sarel Erwee, Senuran Muthusamy, DJ Vilas, Khaya Zondo, Sibonelo Makhanya, Andile Phehlukwayo, K Maharaj, Eathan Bosch, P Subrayen, D Dupavillon.
Warriors
Although the Warriors do not really have a big name in their lineup, they've done tremendously well in the competition and are perhaps one of the better-balanced sides in the competition. To add to their army of utility players, Sinethemba Queshile and Lutho Sipamla will return to their lineup for the playoffs.
The Warriors will also draw confidence from their terrific record of playing at this ground. Having said that, their last encounter against the Dolphins wasn't really fruitful and we might see them adopt a cautious approach going forward in the match.
All in all, the Warriors may not have a star-studded lineup, but they have a terrific balance and more often than not, they are more than the sum of their parts on the field. The likes of Matt Breetzke, Queshile, and Sipamla along with their experienced skipper, JJ Smuts have done well in the tournament thus far and will have a huge role to play in upcoming fixture.
Warriors Playing 11

DOL vs WRS Dream11 Prediction
The return of Andile Phehlukwayo to the side has only made the selection a little more tricky. While he is likely to walk into any Dream11 side and will probably be a captain for many, his high cost could be a factor which would deter people to select him. Other than him, Sipamla, Breetzkee, and JJ Smuts are good picks for the upcoming contest. Sine Queshile, who had a reasonably good tournament, is our pick for the wicket-keeper slot. DOL vs WRS Betting Tips
The Dolphins and Warriors are currently the joint winners of the trophy, but the door to defend it will close for at least one of the teams. Both the sides have played terrific cricket this season and will be looking to extend their fabulous run for two more games. However, considering the recent form of the two sides and team on paper, the Dolphins - largely due to the return of Andile Phehlukwayo appear to be a stronger unit and are better placed to emerge on top and progress to the finals.
