It's tough competition in Group A with all teams pretty much capable of beating any other on their day. New Zealand and England started off their campaign with wins in their respective matches and are certainly in their driver's seat at the moment. Both these sides will be eyeing to add to their momentum and the next match match is going to be pretty useful in that respect.
Up next in the competition, England are all set to take on Ireland in what will be an important match for both these sides but for different reasons. England started as one of the title contenders and will want to emphasize that with a win here. Ireland, on the other hand, will be looking to grab their first win after a terrible start to the their campaign.

ENG vs IRE Team Previews
England
England aren't really talked about as much as they are capable of and that might be owing to the recent run they have had. They were defeated by India in a home series and then traveling to Pakistan, they barely managed to come out on top. Having said that, it is true that they were far from their best squad in both those matches.
In the World Cup, they have their best squad available and could prove to be a big threat. In the first match however, which was against the Afghans, England were superb with the ball but they consumed too many resources to overcome a paltry total by all standards. They will be looking to push their net run-rate further up in this matches as that could prove to be a deciding factor, should it come to that.
All in all England have a pretty good side that has not been in form as good as they would have wanted to. They have a team full of T20 specialists and can be tough to contend with. If they are able to play to their potential here, getting past them could prove to be a tricky task.

Just when the group stage concluded, Ireland looked to be peaking just at the right moment. However, their loss against Sri Lanka presented more questions than answers for them. Their batting looked a little fragile and will need to fix that sooner than later. On the bowling front though, they seem to be having their bases covered and can cause England a bit of a trouble.
Ireland certainly aren't a side as experienced as England are but they have a history of stunning England in the past and will draw confidence from that. They will need to be llay really out of their skins to push England here. They do have the necessary skills available and if they can use that to full effect, Ireland will be well in business.
