Fortune Barishal weren't really favorites to top the ladder when the tournament started, but they not only punched above their weight but also improved massively in the second half of the tournament. They are coming into this match on the back of some spectacular performances in their last few matches and will be brimming with confidence.

They eventually finished at the top of the ladder with 15 points to their name, thanks to seven wins they posted. Also, they had a pretty respectable net run rate of 0.244, which is pretty good given the way they were faring in the first half of the competition.

Remarkably, Fortune Barishal are unbeaten since the beginning of second half after spending most of their time at the bottom of the ladder. Their worst-result in their last seven matches was a no-result in a match that was abandoned due to rain against Sylhet Sunrisers. They have terrific momentum with them and facing them is going to be a steep climb, especially with the experience they have at their disposal.

On paper as well, Fortune Barishal appear to be a terrific side. Shakib Al Hasan, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, and Munim Shahriar have all done an excellent job for them in recent times. On the bowling front too, they appear to be well-equipped with the likes of Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Shafiqul Islam, and Mehedi Hasan Rana.

All in all, Fortune Barishal have a team loaded with match-winners, who all have contributed well at least once in the last few matches. With the momentum they have, they will be a dangerous side to deal with. If they are able to play to their potential, getting past them is going to be a very difficult task.

Comilla Warriors

Just like Fortune Barishal, Comilla Victorians didn't really get off to a start they would have wanted, but were quick to get back to the winning ways. Once they tasted success, they were difficult to dislodge and that is apparent by the wins they have posted recently.

They were once at the top of the ladder, but failure to finish the league stage with a flourish had them drop a place on the ladder. They eventually finished at the second spot with six wins from ten matches. However, they had the net run rate of 0.680 at the end and that indeed is the true measure of how dominating they were.

Comilla Victorians may be coming off a loss in their previous match, but by no means they have been poor in their recent outings. In fact, they have won two out of their last three matches and will want to get back to winning ways. They lost their recent outing against Fortune Barishal and will be keen to avenge that defeat in a match that involves higher stakes.

On paper, the Victorians look an immaculately balanced side that is loaded with experience as well. Besides, Faf du Plessis is coming off a fantastic century in the last match and will want to continue building on it. The presence of Moeen Ali and Sunil Narine really add depth to their side, which anyway looks well-balanced on all accounts. Given the form they have been in and the side they have on-paper, if they are able to play to their potential, they will be very difficult to play against.
