Flying Oryx and the Heat Stormers are going to be playing each other in this upcoming match of the Qatar T10 League as they try and build on contrasting starts to the tournament. Flying Oryx was handed an easy win against the pearl Gladiators in the opening match and is going to play another match before this one while the Heat Stormers lost their opening match to the Falcon Hunters at the very last ball of the match.
It is another opportunity for both the teams to move upwards in the Qatar T10 League table as the action heats up.
Flying Oryx vs Heat Stormers Qatar T10 League is going to be played at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha on the 10th of December 2019.
There was no Kennar Lewis and Andre Fletchers for Flying oryx in the opening match of the tournament but it still managed to win quite easily. Hussain Talat led the side and top-scored with 59 not out to seal an easy chase.
As far as the bowling goes, Hussain Talat, Bilawal Iqbal, and Naveed Malik were the standout performers.
We are not sure how much to read into the opening match that Flying Oryx won. They did not have a very strong opposition but were also missing some key players of their own. If the overseas players become available for selection in this match then there is a good chance that the performance of Flying Oryx will only improve.
Andre Fletcher and Kennar Lewis are very destructive batsmen that can make or break the match in just a few overs. Now that the local players are also performing for Flying Oryx, their batting strength and depth looks very impressive.
The bowling has also got off to a good start although we are sure they are going to face some more difficult challenges in the tournament matches to come.

The Heat Stormers batted quite well in the first match and got to a total of over 100. That is just above what we have seen is the minimum that teams aim for batting first. It allows the defending team to apply pressure on the chasing side and squeeze them.
Unfortunately, the Heat Stormers could not do that and ended up conceding a six off the last ball to lose their match. The Heat Stormers also did not have Sikandar Raza in the side for the previous match and will hopefully have him available for selection in this one.
The former Zimbabwe all-rounder is an asset in both the bowling and the batting side of things.
Some solid striking from Dharmang Patel, Satvir Singh, and Scott Edwards shows that the Heat Stormers batting is quite solid although it does lack that international flair.
Manpreet Gony led the side and the bowling for the heat Stormers in the previous match. He was unable to have much impact on the game, though, and it was Owais Ahmed that managed to pick three wickets in his two overs.
The Heat Stormers do not have a very strong bowling attack and are lacking some genuine all-round options to give the side some balance.

The weather in Doha is expected to be clear and quite pleasant to play cricket in. We also think that the pitch is going to improve as the matches go on. The groundsman will be able to alter the amount of rolling he does on the pitch and the amount of watering he does on the surface.
More scores of over 100 are likely.
We think that Flying Oryx is the team to back in this contest.
Bet on Flying Oryx to win.
