This next match of the Finnish Premier League T20 is going to be played between two teams that are right at the bottom of the league standings. The Finnish Pakistani Club (FPC) and the Greater Helsinki Cricket Club (GHC) have played six matches and each and have just one win each to their names.
They are separated by just net run-rate and this is why FPC is at the bottom right now.
A win here is not going to change the trajectory of the tournament for either team but it is going to maybe give them a chance to rise up the standings.
FPC vs GHC Finnish Premier League is going to be played at the Kerava National Cricket Ground, Kerava on the 6th of July 2020.
FPC has suffered in this tournament largely because of its poor batting. It has two decent players at the top and then almost no resistance afterward. This is reflected in its stats also. Waseem Qureshi has 112 runs to his name but no one else in the side is even close.
Nadeem Qureshi, Muhammad Aqeel, Bilal Khan, and Raees Ahmed have made a few useful contributions but nothing that is going to make the opposition nervous. FPC must somehow get its batting in order otherwise it is going to continue to lose its matches.
It is also very concerning that none of its top-order batters have a strike rate of over 100.
Bilal Khan and Mohammad Tariq Sarfraz lead the bowling attack. They have 8 and seven wickets to their name respectively. The bowling was supposed to be the strength of this FPC side but that has not panned out so far.
Waseem Qureshi, Aqib Qureshi, Subah Sadaqat , Bilal Khan, Mohammed Tariq Sarfaraz, Raees Ahmed, Adil Khan, Jaree Junbah, A Rehman, Shahid Sarfraz, N Khalid .
The Greater Helsinki Club has underperformed in this tournament. It’s batting is not that bad and they have actually played some good cricket at times. Overall, though, the team has struggled to put together consistent performances and crumbled under pressure.
Unlike FPC, they have three players with more than 100 runs in the Finnish Premier League T20 already.
Ghulfam Nazir, Muhammad Ziaur Rehman, Naveed Shahid all have more than 100 runs in total and one individual fifty too. This shows their potential with the bat. Apart from their best inning, though, they have been quite poor and that is what needs to change.
Ghulfam Nazir and Abdullah Attique are also pretty decent hitters of the cricket ball. They have hit seven sixes and fives respectively in the tournament.
The bowling is where things really fall off for GHC. Naveed Shahid has ten wickets to his name but the next best is just three wickets. The average economy rates for the bowlers are also pretty high when compared to other teams.
GHC has been able to bet pretty well in some matches but its bowling lets it down.
Abdullah Attiqe, Hamzah Mukhtar, Gulfam Nazir, Adnan Ahmad, Kamran Waheed, Muhammad Ziaur Rehman, Naveed Shahid, Ali Waris, Parveen Kumar Garhwal, Kashif Muhammad, Sohail Amin.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first.

There has been a lot of rain around in Kerava in recent days but the forecast for this match is pretty good. A cloudy day with some chance of rain but not too much to worry seems to be in store.
The pitch has been absolutely the same throughout this tournament as it is an artificial one. Scores of around 130-140 are par batting first.
FPC and GHC are very different teams than each other. On paper, FPC is a better bowling team while GHC is a much better batting team. Neither of these teams is in good form and particularly reliable. In this situation, we have to go purely on stats and that is where GHC’s batting seems to give it the edge.
Bet on Greater Helsinki Cricket Club to win.
