The second round of matches in the Finnish Premier League T20 2020 has started and this next match is between two teams at the opposite ends of the league table. The Finnish Pakistani Club (FPC), currently at the bottom of the standings, is going to be playing against GYM Helsinki Gymkhana (HGCC) as both teams try to improve on their current positions.
HGCC could open a little bit of distance between itself and the trailing pack by winning this match while FPC would be desperate to try and get its second win of the tournament.
FPC vs HGCC Finnish Premier League T20 is going to be played at the Kerava National Cricket Ground, Kerava on the 11th of July 2020.
FPC continued its trend of poor batting performances in this tournament as it was reduced to 6 for 3 and then 18 for 5 in its previous match against the Greater Helsinki Cricket Club. Just win out of all the matches it has played this season reflects how badly FPC has performed.
We don’t think it has too many ideas on how to change things around.
They have just one batsman with a total of more than 100 runs this season, Waseem Qureshi. He is also the only batsman that has hit a fifty for FPC. There is just no other batsman that seems capable of scoring consistently. Bilal Khan and Adil Khan have shown the potential to be able to clear the boundaries but their contributions have also been small cameos at best.
In terms of batting, FPC is going to be outmatched by every other team in the Finnish Premier League.
Bilal Khan has 11 wickets to his name and is supported by Mohammed Tariq Sarfraz with 7. There are more than a couple of other bowlers in the team as well but they need some help from the batsmen to help their team win.

Three wins in its last four matches have helped HGCC to rise up to third in the standings. They could even challenge for second if they win this match and SKK Stadin loses its next match. For the time being, HGCC should be focused on winning as many matches as possible and perhaps finishing in the top-2.
The reason for the recent success of HGCC is the batting form of Pankaj Saharan and Saif Ur Rehman.
They both combined for 81 runs at the top of the order in the previous match as well and made sure HGCC got to a very good total batting first. Both the batsmen are also at the top of the run-scorers list for the tournament.
Brar Simranjeet, Shahid Irshad Gondal, and Faizal Shahzad are some of the other batsmen that can make a contribution if needed.
HGCC has a decent batting lineup which is also in good form.
Faisal Shahzad, Jaleel Ahmad, and Muhammad Ghawas are the three bowlers that have been performing the best for HGCC. All three of them will be waiting to get a chance to go up against the weak FPC batting.

The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first. That has been the trend in this tournament irrespective of the conditions.

There is a lot of rain predicted in Kerava on match day and there is a very real possibility that we are not going to get any play whatsoever. This will be pretty disappointing for HGCC which would fancy winning this match if it gets the chance.
We don’t think the pitch and outfield are going to change too much from the previous matches.
This match is most likely going to be rained-out. If, however, the teams do get a chance to play then HGCC is the team to back.
Bet on HGCC to win.
