The final of the CPL 2019 season is going to be played between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Barbados Tridents. These are the two best teams this season and deserve to be in the CPL 2019 final for sure.
Guyana Amazon Warriors have played 11 matches this season, including Qualifier 1, and have won them all. The Barbados Tridents have been more inconsistent but they too managed to beat the defending champions TKR three times on their way to the final.
The advantage of having played a match at the same venue as the final could also be a significant one for the Tridents.
Guyana Amazon Warriors vs Barbados Tridents CPL 2019 is going to be played at the Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad on the 12th of October 2019.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors have grown in strength and confidence as CPL 2019 had progressed and currently seems to be further ahead of all the other teams than at the start.
They managed to make over 200 runs against the Tridents in the Qualifier and then defended that total with ease.
The surface in Tarouba seemed very good for batting in Qualifier 2 and so the Warriors batting could be a handful to manage once again.
Brandon King scores a century in the previous match and showed just why he is rated so highly in the Caribbean. We think it is just a matter of time before he is fast-tracked on to the international team.
His opening partnership with Chandrapaul Hemraj has been a big asset for the Warriors. These two youngsters are followed by experienced batters like Shimron Hetmyer, Shoaib Malik, and Nicholas Pooran.
Perhaps just as importantly, all of these batsmen are in excellent batting form.
The lower order of Sherfane Rutherford, Keemo Paul, and Chris Green are very capable with the bat as well giving the Warriors a lot of depth.
Their bowling is going to be tested in good batting conditions. The Guyana Amazon Warriors have used their spinners as attacking options and this should not change in the final.
Chris Green, Imran Tahir, Chandrapaul Hemraj, and Shoaib Malik will play a central role. Keemo Paul, Ben Laughlin, and perhaps Romario Shepherd will be the ones rounding out the attack.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors are the best-balanced side and in terrific form. They just have to avoid one bad match to round out the best every CPL season by any side in history.
Shoaib Malik, Chandrapaul Hemraj, Brandon King, Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran, Sherfane Rutherford, Keemo Paul, Romario Shepherd, Christopher Green, Imran Tahir, Ben Laughlin.
If there is any side in CPL 19 that has seemed likely to stop the Guyana Amazon Warriors in their tracks then it has been the Tridents.
They have a strong bowling attack and some dangerous match-winners at the top. The Barbados Tridents are not a flawless team, though, and will have to play out of their skins to be able to win this match.
We strongly believe that the Tridents have to bank on some magic from its top order to try and win this match.
It’s batting failed in the previous match and only managed to reach a competitive score thanks to some late order hitting by Ashley Nurse.
Alex Hales, Johnson Charles, Shakib Al Hasan, and JP Duminy. These seem to the four players that are going to play in the top order for the Barbados Tridents.
Alex Hales is in poor form but cannot be counted out. Johnson Charles lived a charmed life in his previous match and still could not make it count. Shakib has struggled for fluency and JP Duminy seems to be putting out fires in every match.
One of these four has to play the inning of the tournament and we can only see Alex Hales or JP Duminy doing so.
Shai Hope has been a good addition to the team and adds some much-needed depth.
There is not much batting to follow these five. Jonathan Carter, Jason Holder, and Ashley Nurse can all bat but even the Tridents would not be banking on them to make the major contributions.
The bowling attack for the Tridents is pretty solid. Haydon Walsh, Raymon Reifer, and Harry Gurney will lead the attack with support from Jason Holder, JP Duminy, and Ashley Nurse.
Nurse had the match of his dream last time around and could be a factor in this one as well.
J Charles, AD Hales, Philip Salt, Shakib Al Hasan, Jonathan Carter, Jason Holder, Ashley Nurse, Raymon Reifer, Hayden Walsh, Harry Gurney, Shai Hope.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to field first. The pitch should remain good for batting for the entire duration for the match and the side batting second will also benefit if the rain comes down.

There is some rain around in Tarouba. It is predicted to stop around the time that the match gets underway, though, so hopefully, it should not be a problem.
The surface at the Brian Lara Stadium was brilliant for batting. It had nice even pace and bounce. The batsmen should be able to make the most of the conditions in this match and we could have a very high-scoring contest.
180-190 should be considered par for the venue.
Dream11 Tips and Predictions for the CPL 2019 Final are going to focus on the top-order batsmen and the spinners. This is one of the best batting surfaces that the teams are going to play on and if the weather does not interfere, we could have a very high-scoring match.
Current form is also something to be taken very seriously while making your lineup.

The Guyana Amazon Warriors have been unstoppable this season. The law of averages says that they are bound to falter sooner rather than later at this point. Is that enough reason to bet against them though?
We don’t think so. They have a stronger batting lineup, are in better form, and have the players to adapt to all conditions.
Bet on the Guyana Amazon Warriors to win.
