Despite seeing two of their matches get washed away due to rain, the Giants have managed to finish at the top spot with just 1 loss in their 8 completed matches.
James Vince has been the best batsman for the Giants this season, scoring 321 runs in 8 innings, including 3 half-centuries. He has received good support from Shimron Hetmeyer, who scored a quick half-century when both teams last faced each other.
The middle order has seemed to struggle a bit though as the likes of Chris Lynn, Gerhard Erasmus, and Aayan Afzal Khan haven’t been scoring consistently. However, the addition of all-rounders like Colin de Grandhomme and Carlos Brathwaite will surely have a positive impact on the team.
