They have just two matches to go in the tournament and will be looking to register wins in both of them to finish their campaign on a high. They play their next match against Sussex Sharks who have been the best side of the tournament. The clash between the top of the table holders and bottom of the table holders has historically proven to be very exciting, and we can expect the same this time around as well. The two teams are set to lock horns at Grace Road, Leicester on 26th August.

Glamorgan
Glamorgan find themselves at the bottom of the south group points table, but they have only themselves to blame for this poor performance. They had a poor start to the tournament with the bat, but instead of their batting improving as the competition moved forward, their bowling started to lose confidence.
They currently have just five points to their name, courtesy four washouts and a tie and even if they win both their remaining matches, which is an unlikely scenario in itself, they'll fall a mile short of qualifying for the playoffs.
They are coming off a massive defeat at the hands of Somerset wherein they failed to chase a reasonably good target off 177. Marchant de Lange and Roman Walker bowled exceedingly well to keep Somerset to 177, but as has been the case in the tournament so far - their batting failed to get going and ended up 25 runs short of the target.

Sussex
Even though Sussex Sharks have experienced a couple of hiccups in their campaign, they have been the best team of the tournament and that too by quite some distance. They are currently placed at the top of the table with 17 points to their name and an extremely good net run-rate of +0.832.
They are coming off a heart-wrenching win in their last match in which Essex Eagles just managed to get past them despite brave performances from Laurie Evans and David Wiese. Will Beer was the pick of their bowlers against Essex.
They have been brilliant in the tournament so far with both their batting as well as bowling doing exceptionally well. Phil Salt and Luke Wright have been in superb form at the top of the order, and with a batting lineup that goes deep complemented by a versatile bowling attack, Sussex Sharks could prove to be too hot to handle for Glamorgan.
