In an earlier game, Jack Davies batted well to score 32 runs from 20 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from Davies, Martin Andersson succeeded in scoring 25 runs from 16 balls while Max Holden managed to chip in scoring 22 runs from 9 balls. In the bowling department, the Middlesex team will depend on people such as Ryan Higgins, Martin Andersson, Nathan Fernandes, and Tom Helm to provide vital breakthroughs to the side.

The Middlesex team is currently lying at the bottom of the North Group table as they have lost all 5 games they have played in the competition. In their last appearance in the competition, they were thrashed resoundingly by Somerset with a margin of 9 wickets. Only the skipper Steve Eskinazi has been a consistent run-getter for Middlesex. The Middlesex bowlers had a tough job of defending a small total of 137 runs against Somerset on Friday. The Middlesex bowlers needed a minor miracle to pull off a win in this situation. They could manage to pick just a single wicket before they lost the match within 13.3 overs. Tom Helm picked up 1 wicket for 40 runs. We also saw Toby Roland-Jones making a maiden appearance for the season. It is a fact that Middlesex has been completely outplayed in practically all the games they have participated in this season.
