Hampshire are coming off a massive defeat in their last game which rendered the chances of their qualification a little less likely. Batting first, Hampshire's batting failed yet again, as has been the case in the whole of the tournament, and were bundled out for just 140.
They needed early wickets to defend such a low total, but their bowlers failed to put any pressure whatsoever on the Gloucs' batsmen as Hampshire lost the match by seven wickets.
Barring Aneurin Donald, who has also been in on and off kind of form as the rest of their batsmen, none of their batsmen could get going against a lethal Gloucs attack. Donald scored 44 off just 23 deliveries.
Hampshire are still not out of quarter-final contention a win in this match might just set up things to get their confidence back. They have played one less game than most of the other teams in the tournament, and a win here could be crucial to their way ahead in the competition.

Surrey
With a couple of impressive wins in their last two matches, Surrey kept their hopes to qualify for the next round well and truly alive. They are coming off a massive win over Sussex Sharks which would have boosted their confidence to a high degree.
It was a scintillating innings by Sam Curran which made all the difference as Surrey defended down a relatively modest target against the Sharks. Imran Tahir and Tom Curran picked up three wickets each to halt Sussex's progress and restricted them to just 135, winning the match by 26 runs.
Although Surrey registered an vital win in their last two matches, they lost Tom Curran to an injury and his absence could play a decisive role in the upcoming game. Surrey are one of the better-balanced sides in the South Group of the competition and won't be easy to deal with for the out-of-form Hants.
