The opening batting for the Hyderabad outfit will be in the hands of the likes of Tanmay Agarwal while the middle order will be handled by players such as Rahul Buddhi. Batting first in their last game against Tripura the Hyderabad team could muster up just 190 runs as they were bowled out in 46.1 overs. Only Ravi Teja could hit a half-century in the innings. He contributed 72 runs to his team's cause. He was supported by Rishith Reddy who made 39 runs together with Bhavesh Seth in the lower middle order. Ravi Teja scored his runs from 92 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes. None of the Hyderabad bowlers could make a significant impact on the Tripura batters although Ravi Teja and Sanketh made early inroads in the Tripura batting line-up. Bishal Ghosh hit a hundred for Tripura and together with Deepak Khatri took the game away from Hyderabad.

Saurashtra

The Saurashtra cricket team, on the other hand, has made an excellent start to their campaign in the Vijay Hazare Trophy by winning their first couple of games. They are leading the points table with 8 points and also have the best net run rate of +3.210 due to a couple of solid wins. The Saurashtra top of the order is in the hands of the India cap Chteshwar Pujara. The Saurashtra middle order is in the hands of the likes of Arpit Vasavada, Harvik Desai, Sheldon Jackson, and co. The Saurashtra bowling attack will be handled by Jaydev Unadkat, Chetan Sakariya, and Dharmendrasinh Jadeja.

The Saurashtra cricket team recorded a win in their first couple of games against Chandigarh and Manipur with good margins. In their last match against the Manipur team, the Saurashtra side batted first. They were devastating in their effort and scored a massive total of 397 for 4 in their first innings. Samarth Vyas was stunning in his efforts with a 131-ball 200. He scored this double century with 9 sixes and 20 fours. Vyas was involved in a 282-run stand for the opening wicket with Harvik Desai who also hit a hundred from 107 balls with 9 fours and 2 sixes.

All the Manipur bowlers except L Kishan Singha were taken to the cleaners by the Saurashtra batters. The Manipur team never looked like chasing down the target or even getting close to it. They were bowled out for a paltry total of 115 runs. Dharmendrasinh Jadeja was magical with the ball in hand. He returned with the figures of 10-4-10-7. This 7-wicket haul broke the back of the Manipur batting order that looked like struggling anyway under the pressure of a huge total. He was supported by Arpit Vasavada who took a couple of wickets for 21 runs. The opening bowler Chetan Sakariya picked up the only other wicket to fall.
