The T20 series between Bangladesh and India is 1-1 heading into Nagpur and there is everything to play for. This veritable final between the two sides is going to be closely contested as India is resting some key players and Bangladesh is showing that it is not a side to be taken lightly.
Mushfiqur Rahim helped his side strike the first blow in the first match while Rohit Sharma lay down the hammer in the second. Which player is going to leave his mark int he third T20 between Bangladesh and India?
There has been some talk about the rain being a factor but as of now, the weather forecast is excellent for match day.
India vs Bangladesh 3rd T20 2019 is going to be played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium. Nagpur on the 10th of November 2019.
All of India’s problems seem to disappear when Rohit Sharma is at his best and that is exactly what we got to witness in the previous match. He was looking to make a statement from the time he walked in and smashed the ball all around.
The pitch at Nagpur is another very good one for batting and the Indian batting is going to be very dangerous.
Shikhar Dhawan spent some time in the middle, which should pay dividends soon, while Shreyas Iyer seems to be striking the ball very cleanly as well. Lokesh Rahul has been a bit tentative at number three and we don’t think he is going to score too many runs in the final T20 either.
India decided to play an unchanged team in the second match but we think they may consider a couple of changes for this match. Khaleel Ahmed has been very poor in this series and should be swapped out for Shardul Thakur.
It may also be time for Rahul Chahar to get a chance in the playing eleven but the other spinners have done quite well. Manish Pandey in the side for Shivam Dube is a change that we would most certainly make.
India’s seam bowling was poor in the previous game and leaked runs at an alarming pace. It was up to Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra Chahal to apply the breaks on the scoring as well as pick up a few wickets.
Some dropped catches and misfields showed that India was under pressure in the previous match. Such mistakes could be very costly in a winner take all game.
Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Lokesh Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dube, Manish Pandey, RR Pant, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, YS Chahal, Khaleel Ahmed.
AN excellent start to the second ODI was squandered as the Bangladeshi batsmen were not able to make the most of the work their opening batsmen had done. The team must realize that it is against one of the best teams in the world and cannot afford to take its foot off the pedal at any time.
Mohammad Naim played very well and looks like a player for the future. Soumya Sarkar, Liton Das, Mahmudullah, and Mushfiqur Rahim are in good batting form as well.
This makes the Bangladesh batting very dangerous. It will be interesting to see who the batsmen react if Indian changes up its bowling attack and throws up some new challenges.
The Bangladeshi bowling was very poor in the previous match. Any wickets that it got were down to the batsmen making mistakes rather than any plan coming to fruition. Perhaps the only bowler that asked some questions was the leggie, Aminul Islam.
The lack of form showed by Mustafizur Rahman is worrying since he is expected to be the spearhead for Bangladesh in this format of the game.
Bangladesh has a poor record against India in big games but this is as good an opportunity to change things around as any. Not having Shakib Al Hasan or Tamim Iqbal in the squad and still being able to win a series in India will go down as one of the biggest achievements of Bangladesh cricket, should it come to pass.
Liton Das, Mohammad Naim, Soumya Sarkar, Mahmudullah, Afif Hossain, Mohammad Mithun, Mushfiqur Rahim, Aminul Islam, Shafiul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Al-Amin Hossain.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first. That is how both the teams have won their matches so far and would like to repeat the same.

The weather forecast for Nagpur at the moment is very good. There is a cyclone around which could bring some rain into the region but we don’t think that is going to happen. The pitch at Nagpur varies from time to time.
It can be a great batting surface where over 200 runs are scored with ease as was done by Sri Lanka against India or can spin viciously from the first ball, as was the case when New Zealand toured last.
It appears that the groundsman has prepared a good batting surface for this match as per the reports from the ground.
India is the stronger side in this contest, of that there is no doubt. Its bowling is struggling, though, and Rohit Sharma covered up a lot of the faults of the batting as well. We think India is going to win easily if the surface is similar to the previous game but Bangladesh could come into the game is the surface is like what we saw in Delhi. Look at the pitch report closely.
Bet on India to win.
