India

India is expected to rest Virat Kohli and KL Rahul for this match. That would make things interesting because the only batting replacement in the squad is Shreyas Iyer and he is not really an opener. Maybe Rishab Pant could be sent in to open since he has done that in the past. Suryakumar Yadav is in such good form that he will not mind opening but India is unlikely to change his playing position. 

Expect Pant and Rohit at the top, Iyer at three, SKY at four, an all-rounder (possibly Axar) at five, and then Dinesh Karthik at seven. This is still a dangerous batting lineup but it is quite shallow and could find competing against South Africa difficult. 

Shahbaz Ahmed is expected to make his debut. 

India could also make a change in the bowling unit by giving Mohammad Siraj a chance alongside Deepak Chahar and Arshdeep Singh. Yuzvendra Chahal is also in the squad and could replace R Ashwin. The name remains the same but the Indian team is going to be very different for this match then the first two.

South Africa

South Africa would be very disappointed with its performances in the first two matches. It had difficult batting conditions in the first match and a massive target to chase in the second but the performances of most of its leading players have been disappointing. 

The pressure is on Temba Bavuma to prove he belongs in the playing eleven, which we firmly believe he does not. Reeza Hendricks, South Africa's most prolific opener is likely to come into the side for this match. Whether he replaces Quinton de Kock or Rilee Rossouw remains to be seen. 

David Miller showed us why he is rated as one of the best in the world in the previous match. He alone cannot be responsible for performing miracles every time. He, Stubbs, and possibly Pretorius could be the middle order for this match. 

Keshav Maharaj has been brilliant and should keep his place unless the team wants to give Shamsi a game. Nortje, Rabada, and Ngidi should continue to keep their place in the eleven unless there is an injury.
