The series between India and West Indies has been memorable so far. The T20’s went down to the final match and now the ODI series will be decided in the final match as well. If there was anyone that thought that the West Indian side was going to lie down and roll over then they were in for a rude awakening.
Now that the series is level 1-1, the West Indies would want an avoid of the T20 decider.
Both teams had their chances in the matches they lost and would know that the margin of error is very small. A number of West Indian players have become millionaires at the IPL auction and would want to showcase just how much they deserve it.
India vs West Indies third ODI is going to be played at the Barabati Stadium, Odisha on the 22nd of December 2019.
India was poor in the field during the first ODI and was completely out batted. In the second match, it batted brilliantly but continued to field very poorly. As a result, we don’t think India would have been very happy about either of its performances so far.
Now, in the third match, India has another chance to set the record straight.
Its ODI team has been struggling with finding the right middle order and it looks like Shreyas Iyer has made the number four position his own. With four fifties in his last five matches, Shreyas Iyer has shown the ability to play the big shots when needed and have the temperament to keep things tight when the situation requires as well.
Runs for Rohit Sharma, Lokesh Rahul, Rishab Pant and even Kedar Jadhav mean that the Indian batting is in a very good space. It is Virat Kohli who has missed out in the two matches and it is not often he goes an ODI series without getting a big one. We are backing him to make it count in the third ODI.
The bowling has been a concern for India and we think they need to make some changes. Deepak Chahar has been injured and so is going to be replaced by Navdeep Saini. India could decide to play with three spinners but that would be an extreme measure that Kohli does not usually like doing.
We would still like to see Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal in the side together but it appears as if the team management likes having Jadeja for his batting ability. Mohammad Shami and SHardul Thakur are going to have a big task on their hand in the final ODI.
Rohit Sharma, Lokesh Rahul, V Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, RR Pant, Kedar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, SN Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, NA Saini.
The West Indian batting has been explosive in this series. They lost the second ODI by a huge margin but gave the mammoth chase a fair go. Shai Hope scored 78 and continued to prove himself as the best ODI batsman in the West Indies right now. Nicholas Pooran also played an absolutely exhilarating inning of 75 from just 47 deliveries which included six sixes.
There were some other cameos but not enough to get the West Indies home in a miracle chase.
For the final match, the West Indian batting is going to be faced with another small ground in which they can attack the Indian bowling from the start. Shimron Hetmyer, Evin Lewis, and Kieron Pollard are our three players to watch out for from the West Indian batting side in this match.
The bowling was ineffective in the previous match and will need to step its game up. Sheldon Cottrell and Roston Chase were very expensive while most of the other bowlers struggled as well. The West Indies bowling has been unable to pick wickets or keep the runs down so far.
Some dropped catches from the West Indies, a bit uncharacteristic, also contributed to their poor showing.
We may see Fabian Allen get a chance in this match in place of Khary Pierre but that is about the only change we expect in the West Indian side.
Evin Lewis, Shai Hope, Shimron Hetmyer, Roston Chase, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard, Jason Holder, Keemo Paul, Alzarri Joseph, Khary Pierre, Sheldon Cottrell.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first on a flat batting pitch that may take some turn later.

The weather forecast for Odisha is very good and we should not have any trouble with the weather. The venue has seen some crowd trouble in the past and that could be a concern in this match considering the protests going around the country and Odisha right now.
The pitch at the Barabati stadium is usually very good for batting. The highest score recorded here was 381 by India against England just a few years ago. A similarly flat batting pitch should be laid out for this match.
Dream11 Tips and dream11 Prediction for India vs West Indies 3rd ODI. We expect the track at Barabati Stadium, Odisha to be one where the ball comes on to the bat nicely and then becomes a bit helpful for the spinners later on. The team that wins the toss is likely to want to bat first to try and post a big total. The boundaries are small and give plenty of chances to the big-hitters. This is why we have tried to include the batting strength from both teams and then pair it with some value picks in the bowling department. Remember to change your team after the pitch report and toss to better suit the conditions. We will be posting the updated Dream11 team on our twitter and facebook pages.

The Indian side has been tested in this series and pushed to the edge. It still has enough in the tank to be able to come back hard and win this series. India has lost four out of the last five ODI’s it has played in India, a strange record that Virat Kohli will be keen to address.
India’s batting has more class and its bowling is better than the West Indies.
