IND_A vs NZA Match Prediction - Sep 08, 2022

New Zealand A defied the odds to bounce back and draw the first unofficial Test and will be raring to have a go once again at the India A unit. India A, on the other hand, will certainly be disappointed that they weren't able to wrap up the Kiwi batting unit on the fourth day of the opening test.

Up next in this series, the two sides are set to take on each other in a bid to get ahead in the series. The 2nd Test of the series is to be played from 8th September at the KSCA Hubli Cricket Ground, Hubli.

India A

India A produced a performance pretty much on the expected lines but would be disappointed by the result they got. The surface had something for the bowlers right throughout the match but their spinners just weren't able to execute the plans well. On the batting front, however, India A would be pretty happy and brimming with confidence going into the next match.

India A have brought in Shardul Thakur to replace injured Prasidh Krishna. Though Thakur doesn't have the express pace or the banana swing, he does enough to create doubts in batsmen's mind. His batting abilities should come in handy. All in all, India have a pretty good side that did an excellent job in the first match. If they can do something similar again, the Kiwis will certainly have their work cut out.

India A Playing 11

Abhimanyu Easwaran, Mukesh Kumar, Panchal, Rajat Patidar, Tilak Varma, Umran Malik, KS Bharat, Rahul Chahar, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Saurabh Kumar, SN Thakur.

New Zealand A

Not often would you find a touring side battle their way out with the ease that we haven't seen with the touring sides in recent times. While there wasn't much that they were able to do with the ball, they were indeed excellent with the bat.

Batting first on a deck that had something for the bowlers, they managed to put up a total of 400 runs. They did concede a big lead, but played out the last day pretty comfortably. All in all, New Zealand A have a decent side that plays spin brilliantly. If they are able to do a similar kind of job again, they would certainly make things difficult for the hosts.

New Zealand A Playing 11

Benjamin Lister, Cameron Fletcher, Dane Cleaver, Joe Carter, Jacob Duffy, Logan van Beek, Mark Chapman, Michael Rippon, Rachin Ravindra, Sean Solia, Tom Bruce.

IND_A vs NZA Betting Tips

New Zealand's fight in the first match has certainly sparked a lot of excitement in the series and this match would be the one to watch out for. Both sides have excellent batting units and the team that bowls better will likely come out on top. Considering the team combinations of the two sides, India A look ahead, albeit ever so slightly. They also have the home advantage available and that generally does make a big difference in these conditions. Keeping all those factors into considerations, a bet on India A win should be the way to go here.
