India A

India A has a number of cricketers that have played quite a bit of international cricket and others that have been knocking at the doors of the Indian team for some time now. This is a strong team with a lot of depth and that has shown in the results. 

We think India A is the stronger batting side by far. Prithvi Shaw, Sanju Samson, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Rajat Patidar are the players that have done well so far. You also expect someone like Tilak Varma to come good sooner than later. 

The bowling attack is almost all-international. Umran Malik, Kuldeep Yadav, Rahul Chahar, and Shardul Thakur played the previous match. While Kuldeep Yadav took a hat-trick, all the others were quite impressive as well. 

New Zealand A

New Zealand A is realizing just how difficult touring India can be for all cricket teams. Compared to India, New Zealand A does not have the same kind of international experience in its ranks. Its players are used to playing a very high level of domestic cricket but the A tours are still a big step up. 

Rachin Ravindra and Joe Carter are two of the players that have really impressed us but there are other players capable of scoring runs as well. Overall, the New Zealand A team has lesser power, depth, and sheer quality in its lineup when compared to India A. 

The conditions in India are not the best for the New Zealand bowlers but they have still tried their best. Jacob Duffy and Logan van Beek are two that have done decently well. One of the areas where New Zealand A has struggled is its spinners. 

It is going to take something very special for New Zealand's bowlers to be able to get the better of the Indian batters.
