The Bhilwara Kings team got off to a winning start in the competition. They beat Manipal Tigers by a slender margin of 3 wickets in a closely fought match that went right down to the wire. However, they had to endure a loss in their next outing against this very opposition. They lost the game against India Capitals by a margin of 78 runs on Wednesday. Bhilwara Kings will certainly have to pull up their socks after that hammering, they received from India Capitals. They will have to improve in both their batting and bowling departments if they are to have any hopes of being competitive in the game.
In their last game against India Capitals, BHK suffered a massive loss. Only the opening batter Naman Ojha could make a score in the excess of 20 runs together with a surprise contribution in the lower middle order by Tanmay Srivastava. Yusuf Pathan was among the wickets as well with his off-spin picking up 2 for 28 in the 4th match of the competition.
In their last match, fast bowlers Tim Bresnan and Tino Best were both among wickets picking up a single wicket apiece in the same match. This game is to be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. On this ground, the ball comes on to the bat nicely at a good pace. This will no doubt encourage the quicker bowlers but also the stroke players from both sides. It will be enjoyable playing shots on this track.
Although this is another match to be played on another day, India Capitals will start the match with a higher confidence level. After all, they did win the first encounter between these two teams by a big margin. But this is cricket and you can expect a closer game this time around. We are expecting Delhi Capitals to hold their nerve and win this game.
India Capitals have in-form openers in their squad. You can expect them to make a good start and score more than 5 runs in the first over of their innings.
Again, Bhilwara openers are unlikely to attempt any heroics in the first over of the innings. So, you can bet on the openers not losing their wicket in the first over.
Naman Ojha is in good form as he displayed in the last match. You can expect him to come good again in this crucial match.
